On Tuesday about 7:30 PM, me and two of my family members decided to get some food at this location. While we were waiting we decided to indulge ourselves with a Italian margarita, that I love, while we were sitting at the bar, I noticed that the bartender was about to pour our margaritas in pint beer glasses!!! While she went to the kitchen I guess to place our to-go order, I went to tell one of the employees at the front if she can please cancel the margaritas because I do not want to drink my margarita in a beer glass. My main big reasons why I did not want my delicious margarita in a beer glass: #1 Had a lot of ice in the glass already, the margarita will not taste the same, watered down #2 You should never pour a special cocktail in the improper glass and these are OG protocols. So while I told the lady at the front she replied in a sarcastic way “Oh, she probably ran out of margarita glasses plus you will get the same amount of alcohol or more.“ she never apologized. I really thought these people had no culture or has never been properly trained as bartenders, yet taught about proper Olive Garden standards, it was not about more or less, but rather the correct amount of ingredients that go into the Italian Margarita and the proper nice glass (margarita glass) that that goes with it, that is the reason I love that Margarita! Not just that, we noticed they were gossiping behind the bar in a loud voice, discriminating my preferences and talking in a nasty tone, that made me and my family so extremely uncomfortable, I even had to tell my family to wait in the car for this reason. When I was about to pay the bartender, she had such a bad attitude I could not believe it, she slammed my check and change onto the bar, she never thanked or apologized for not having the proper glass or if it would be okay with us if she could pour the margaritas into a beer glass, that gesture could have made a whole difference. Anyways I work hard to get what I deserve, I do not go out to be disrespected or discriminated, I am a very respectful, harmonious person, I was not rude and neither was my family. Not just that, I also work for the Darden company and I know what their philosophy is and all I can say is that it is a great company that has many values such as respect, I cannot believe the bully-like behavior we experienced from these two team members, very...
Read moreOn today june 26 at about 8:30 I went to this Olive Garden with my friend. We stood at the hostess desk completely ignored by TWO female staff members I made the comment “damn nobody work here” about three times because that’s how many times me and my friend were looked at without being spoken to or sat down. Soon a white couple plus one walked in behind us the younger blonde waitress with a green hair-clip in her head immediately greeted and asked them if it was only three of them. Completely skipped our presence, didn’t speak to us, didn’t ask if we needed a table nothing. A young Hispanic guy doing to-go orders asked if we were eating in or to-go but assumed she was helping us to which I responded “no she’s not speaking to us” her response was to turn her head and roll her eyes. I’m completely understanding of feeling some type of way based off of my comment but how else should someone react after standing at the front for five minutes while two separate women watched and intentionally ignored us. We turned around to leave because obviously our money was unwanted here. We drove to the Fairfield location 15 minutes away (way better service). During our drive my friend called the stone creek location requesting at manager. Tim, the manager, was extremely nonchalant and rude even saying “how could I have helped when you guys ran away”. My apologies for “running away”, if one of his staff had spoken to us maybe we could’ve asked for him to come up front, but since we were blatantly ignored it was better that we left. What a shame that this bigotry and bias consumes even restaurants hostesses, when all we wanted was to be seated and served like any other paying customers. I also condemn the white couple plus one who knew we were there before them, yet said nothing, happy to be served before us despite hearing us and seeing us there...
Read moreRecent visits: 12/2021 On My recent visits it just depends on who is in the kitchen. On 2 visits it was an hour or so b4 closing. The service and the food were sub par. The most recent visit last weekend everything was on point. Service and food were on point. Oh well I guess it's asking too must to expect consistency in the kitchen with different cooks.. everyday. I like my food to be fresh and hot 🔥. When it's not, it's a disappointment 😒 😒. A good server listens to the customers and tries to give them exactly what they are asking for. No matter how complicated it can be. Without the customers there is no need for the employees.
This review was from one year ago.. 12/2020. Went for lunch, decided on unlimited soup, salad, an breadsticks. All staff wore a mask. 1st bowl of zuppa soup was sup par, it was missing the ingredients like sausage, potatoes, kale. 2nd round I tried chicken gnocchi which was on point. So, on my 3rd round I decided to ask if there was a new batch of zuppa made, because my 1st bowl of zuppa was lacking most of its ingredients. Waiter said, he would make sure this bowl was on point and it was. For the record the waiter was new only his 3rd day. He did good. I ordered a gran Apple sangria with pineapple juice. A little too sweet. Online they had a seafood mushroom appetizer, but they didn't have at the restaurant. I have noticed, due to corona, alot of restaurants are operating on a smaller menu due to a supply shortage.
For the people getting carryout or curbside, Always check your bags...
