We went to Outback for our anniversary because I had a gift card. The staff was friendly, but no matter how many times our waitress said "Don't rush, take your time." -- and it was very often -- I felt rushed. I understood they were busy, but I don't like the feeling of having to hurry. The music was much too loud, and staff repeatedly were changing the volume up, up, then down. The place was packed and between the music and the loud customers, I was about to have a nervous breakdown. This is not a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere where one can enjoy a meal. The food was good, but my bone-in rib steak was at least half fat and unedible. The small portion that was left was tasty and cooked as requested. The asparagus tasted good, but was hard and woody. The French fries were good. In making our reservation/wait list request, I was asked if it was a special occasion, to which I replied our anniversary. Not sure what the point was, because I expected, perhaps, a complimentary dessert. But there was none. The waitress remembered after she had brought our ordered dessert, and then we had to wait while she went to get a couple candles to put in it to mark the occasion. Overall, it was "okay/average", not really a "bad" experience, and I have had much worse food and dining experiences. But, with all the good restaurants around, I can't imagine returning.

The food is typically good to great. Staff are always friendly and helpful, but speed can sometimes suffer when patronage and staffing levels are not copacetic. It looks and feels like a typical Outback, inside and out. Over the years we have enjoyed the burgers, sirloins, ribeyes, prime rib, bloomin' fried chicken, and grilled chicken. I find that the seasoning on the sirloins, ribeyes, and grilled chicken is very good, and they are moist enough, that they seldom need sauce. Prime rib definitely benefits from horseradish and/or au jus. YMMV, especially if you order your steaks more on the well side. The salads are fresh and crisp. All of the potatoes and vegetable sides have been good, though the mixed veggies are sometimes a little bland though quite properly cooked. The bloomin' onion is great, but sometimes a little overdone on the outermost layers. The bread and butter are a hit. Our daughter enjoyed the bread, Mac'n'cheese, and Aussie fries.

I rarely go to Outback. My wife suggested we should go, and I'm happy we went! This meal was delicious; the steak was cooked just right, and I loved the shrimp and the garlic bread, which was resting underneath it, soaking up all the flavor. What you don't see in the picture because it didn't make it was the wedge salad! Everything was delicious. I plan on going again very soon. If I could make a critique it would be the prices, but they do have spacials on their menus to accommodate. But unfortunately, these are the times we're living in when things are overpriced for the consumers. I don't really blame them for that though.

Just had my worst experience here. First issue, kids menus with games to play but no crayons. I mean, Meijer is right across the street. Send someone out and get a box of crayons. Go the extra mile for your guests. Second, the server was nice, but when we would ask for something extra (like dressing and whatnot) it took her a few minutes to bring it back. She had tables, but it wasn’t crazy busy. Third issue, our dinner came and I picked my salad plate up to let the food runner set my dinner plate down. He took my salad plate from me and left…I was still eating it! I said this but he didn’t hear me and walked off with it. Fourth issue was the excessive seasoning on my expensive ribeye, as well as the fact that basically none of the intramuscular fat had rendered down which made parts of it uncuttable and inedible. I ate what I could and drank my drink to tone down the seasoning burning my tongue, as did my son since we were sharing the steak. Not happy with that for how much it costs. Final issue is their new Ziosk for ordering and paying. It doesn’t immediately show you your entire bill so hopefully they got it right. And there is no longer an option to print a receipt. They want your email or phone number for that. No thanks, I get enough spam as it is.

Overall, not happy and will not return for awhile, if ever. Hopefully they can get this...

I called ahead to be placed on the waitlist as I was told it would be an hour prior to being seated for a party of 3. We proceed to the parking lot and sat there an hour as I was told on the phone I would be texted once my table was ready. I never got a message so we proceed to “check-in” once I did I was told it was a 40more min. wait. I asked why as that would mean I was going to be waiting 2hours for a table. I was told bc I didn’t “check-in” when I got there I was never placed on the list. This is understandable but why wasn’t this explained over the phone - and why was I told it would be 50 mins over the phone and I would be receiving a message when my table was ready. Once I was asking these questions to the host - I asked to speak with the manager- the manager on Saturday 3/19/2022 “Sesha” was to busy to speak me at that time. But would be out while I was waiting to speak with me- the hostess also said I would be the next table sat given the situation and we had been waiting over an hour at this time. We then watched 3 tables be sat in front of us and told the hostess we no longer wanted to wait to eat at outback. This is awful service and if the policy is to check in once you arrive why wasn’t this explained on the phone. For the manager to say she doesn’t have...
