This restaurant captures the essence of a hole-in-the-wall classic Midwest diner. The food is greasy spoon breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage made to order, all of which met expectations when I ordered them. I also ate the biscuits and gravy, which were classic in appearance and taste. The gravy was peppered and filled with sausage (or maybe even goetta--it is hard to tell when it is covered in gravy). The meaty flavor was well represented in this gravy. In a world of under-seasoned gravies, this one certainly stood out as a reliably delicious classic.

My friend and I found this little restaurant by accident. It's definitely a hidden gem in the area. A little blast from the past. Our waitress was friendly, and kept our coffee filled. I think her name was Tina. The food was home cooked, the desserts looked amazing and the potato cakes were delicious. My omelette was amazing. I'm very grateful my friend found this new place for us to try. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Place was packed but 5 tables were open with 8 people crammed into a 3 foot by 3 foot entryway for 15 mins the owner thought that it was a good idea to leave people cramped by the freezing door while she got caught up telling her about this she said she had to take care of others first to which I lost it and said I'll be leaving and would leave her this review which she said no one will believe it well here's the pics

Shockingly good. It's not often you have a place that can add spice to the oversaturated industry that is the restaurant world, but I feel they certainly have.

I drove past here often, overlooking it frequently due to being very small and unnoticeable from the street view. Being next to a smoke shop definitely doesn't help. Location makes them feel very under the radar. I finally stopped in to see Matilda, a very friendly server who has a husband I work with. The entire staff and the server you actually served us were very very nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

Potato cakes were possibly if not the best potato cakes I've ever had. Eggs cooked absolutely perfect. Goetta perfectly seared and cooked. Great tasting coffee. Delicious pancake. Everything arrived fast fast fast.

The ambiance was perfect for being a diner and it's bigger than it looks for sure. Multiple servers regardless of who was serving us ensured we had everything we needed at all times. They really seemed to showcase that they genuinely liked their job and actually cared if you had a good service or not.

I bought a shirt so I can help spread the good word of this place. I'll be back to show all my friends and family what they've been missing.

No room for improvement....

Saw this place has a very good rating so we decided to have lunch. Waited just a couple minutes for a table around 1 PM on a Friday. Yes, they were busy! Happy with our seating in the middle of restaurant where we could see all going on. Waitress was swift and accurate in her order taking and helpful with menu explanations.

I ordered a patty melt and asked that the onions be well cooked. Also a side of home fries with onions and cheese, well cooked and slaw. The sandwich was beautiful and hot, albeit somewhat bland. I felt like it could have been better if I'd added a sauce or mayo. The home fries looked pretty, but were, unfortunately, cold. I asked that they be reheated. The slaw was homemade, and was pretty good, but a tad vinegary for my taste. (I admit to being spoiled by my mother in law's!)

There were obvious regulars in and out. This diner was established in 1979, and is family owned and run.

I didn't use the rest room, but it was likely as clean as the rest of the place appeared.

We will go back and try another menu item. Possibly breakfast, which is...

My family and I have been dining at this diner for nearly 20 years. Today I go in I got there at 2:15 they close at 3 o'clock I sat there for :15 minutes while everybody looked at me and went on cleaning the dishes and waiting on the customers who already had their food! Not one person asked to take my order or offered me something to drink or even spoke to me!!! They've just lost a customer and I will be sure to let all my friends and family know how I was treated today maybe the owner wasn't there today? But I suggest everybody you had working today you have a good talk with them! I've never been so offended in my life for an Establishment I have been a Customer to for many many years and this has never happened before but the looks I got told me they...
