I have to say I was thrilled that a Krogers supermarket had been built in this area ( Colerain Township ). For people who take bus or walk this Kroger can be convenient. I always felt the employees at this location could improve their customer service. I have a previous review 2 months ago commenting on customer service. I continued to give this specific Krogers my business. Good business I have 4 children I'm always getting lunches and specific foods my children want. After the 1st incident with the security cars his threats towards me on video I have willing to provide over a cart I now go before that shift which is noon. Monday Nov.6, 3023 has to by far be the worst shopping experience ever. I was approached at self check out about my re usable bags these do sometimes cause conflict but as long as an employee respectfully has questions or concerns they can respectfully be answered. This day a heavy set carrot color hair pony tale guy rudely nudged me at the self scanner allowing me to complete my transaction. Upon exiting runs infront of my cart pushing it into me not knowing being a female I could have been pregnant thankfully not. He chanted to other shoppers to get me. Out of fear I tried to pull back and exit a second employee tall skinny man dark hair both white men snatched my payment card receipt and cart forcefully taking it from me telling me if I get my stuff he will be back with it. Well I left empty handed I contacted customer service they responded 2 days later saying I can come get my cart and 20$ added to my loyalty card for the inconvenience smh. Now my cards amounts has changed from original amount in pending to different amount to complete transaction. Please watch the customer service on 2nd shift they have ego issues and take authority to a way different level. Legally none of what happened is OK. Upon the reviews I see another one similar. Thankfully we as customers have this option to make concisous decisions where we spend our hard...
Read moreI shop here once or twice a month. I usually find what I'm looking for and other items. On my last visit, I had a shopping list. Plus, I had digitally downloaded coupons. I saved money on items by purchasing from the six or more item list. Then, I got discounts that I found on the Kroger app, plus I used a few coupons that I received in the mail from Kroger's. The downside is that due to their over pricing on most items, I choose to shop at Walmart for some items, and Aldi's and Meijer's. Meijer's has fresh produce. And, they offer buy one get the second 50 percent off, or buy one get one free on some meds which came handy for me when I purchased my glucosamine hcl. Some customers were frustrated by the fact that the manager had rearranged the store. Things had been moved to bother locations. This caused me to take longer completing my task. I told shoppers to hang in there. Most customers just try to laugh it off.. Expect to stay longer searching for items. Then, expect to wait in line for quite a while unless you have 20 items or less. Sometimes the U scans are shut down so it takes longer. Wear comfortable shoes. Be patient. Prepare a list. I shop for the right of the store to the left, when on Hamilton Avenue. All stores are not the same, the superstores are set up different. Do digital downloads in advanced, and scan their...
Read moreThis location is five minutes from my house - super convenient. They seemingly listened and got rid of the sales people inside of the store - thank goodness. I didnât want to have to dodge salespeople right around the produce area. They unfortunately got rid of all of their carts that were meant for the kids - the various cars with two wheels - which was good as many were broken but they didnât replace them which has made shopping with my kids even less convenient than it already was. Itâs been a while now since they got rid of them and I had hoped they would get new ones but it doesnât appear like thatâs in the plans. Outside of that, produce area is one of the best out of the available stores in the area although you wouldnât know if you rely on the employees for a pick up order as they must not be trained how to pick out produce and just give you whatever. If I have to do a pick up order, I make sure to avoid adding any produce and save it for a quick run in another day. The deli, which I donât use as often anymore, always has a line and seems slower than it should but the employees are nice. Overall, itâs not the best Kroger Iâve ever been to but itâs also far...
