Panda Express — Restaurant in Colerain Township

Colerain Panda Express on Sunday January 31st at about 3:00 p.m. I was dealing with the young lady who said she was the manager in charge.

When I ordered sweet & sour chicken with an extra bowl of rice, they said they have no way of putting the sauce on your food. When you ask for cups of the sweet and sour sauce, they have these tiny little cups that are about half full at best. I told them that would take a lot of sauce cups because I ordered extra rice and their food is somewhat dry at times. They gave me four little cups, and while that may sound generous, it is not; as there is hardly anything in each cup and it's been that way since I've come here. I told them I would need more sauce and I would be glad to pay for extra sauce cups. Their answer was amazing to say the least... they said there was a shortage of sweet and sour sauce and under no circumstances could I get additional cups of sauce! I told her I felt somewhat doubtful that there was a shortage of sweet and sour sauce. I told them that the food needs more sauce and that it's unacceptably dry without it, and she was firm in the fact she was not going to let me have any more sauce no matter what. I told her if I couldn't get enough sauce to flavor the food I did not want it. She just snapped the bag away from me and told me that it was returned and she asked me then to LEAVE THE PREMISES???This type of behavior is reported in other reviews. They hardly talk to you as it is, and the rudeness scale is way above 10. It is just unbelievable how they seem to treat customers as a nuisance. Also, I've been in there before and received all the cups of the orange sauce that I wanted, with no hassle and no problems.

Also, when I was talking to the manager some young person who was not involved in our conversation came up and started making comments directed at me. I told him I would prefer he was not involved in this conversation, as I felt the manager of the store at the time and I could take care of this. He basically showed contempt and disrespect and said he can do anything he wants. Wow that told me all I needed to know about him. Too bad for Panda Express that what he did not want to do, was mind his own business.

I would like to say I would do a follow-up on this; but I don't expect I'll be there anymore. I truly hope they succeed, as some people enjoy this food; but they've got a long way to go with customer service and consistent...

I will never visit this Panda Express again. This will be a long review but for my fellow patrons that visit here and ideally for management, this needs to be thorough.

Was told at the drive thru intercom they were out of Firecracker shrimp. Fine, not a big deal. The amount of time I spent in the drive thru and the experience once I reached the drive thru window are the most remarkable. Spent 20+ minutes in the drive thru with 2 cars ahead of me but this is not the most dissatisfying part of the experience, over 10 minutes of this was spent at the window as the drive thru assistant repeatedly returned to inform me that each item I ordered was not available. Here's an approximate timeline:

0 minutes - It's going to be a 10 minute wait for the orange chicken you ordered. I switch to string beans and chicken and pay for our food. +4 minutes - Sorry, we're out of Beijing beef +6 minutes - We're also out of teriyaki chicken +9 minutes - We're also out of sesame chicken

Receive our food and head out since we were now running late for another errand. Was given beef and broccoli instead of string beans and chicken.

Things happen but finding out after 20+ minutes of being misled that I was going to receive nothing I ordered is unacceptable, even for "fast" food.

Also, their drive-thru is annoying. You cannot exit once you've entered until everyone ahead of you is gone. If you needed to leave due to an emergency,...

Of course, Panda Express, a top of the line Chinese restaurant, I have to say... I got this with my friend about 3 days ago and, wow, it was definitely superb. There was, once again, an efficient line, and this is ideal when it comes to reviews, they dont rush it, they are just good at keeping it quick. Next, their orange chicken was DELICIOUS, that is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Chinese food, and they made my money worth it. And lastly, their staff was very polite, my friend, Jonathan, had a little issue with his food and he got the wrong order, but it was also his first time trying Chinese food and the employee was very respectful and he gladly replaced the order with what Jonathan wanted.
