The managing partner at the colerain ave. store is very nice and understanding and did her best to make up for my terrible food. I've been eating at longhorns for years and the food, service and management have all gone so far down the drain compared to what they used to be that I'm surprised people still eat here. I believe the biggest problem here is the training. It's either grossly inadequate or non existent because regardless of how you order your steak it comes out burnt black which they place the worst side down and still serve it. That's so deceptive that it leads one to believe management is in on that portion. There's apparently no quality control to maintain any level of standards since if that was the case food like this would never make it to a table. The managing partner handled it as best she could, she made me new food which was hot fresh and done correctly which tells me they "can" do it right when they want or care enough to. If you eat at longhorn and like what they bring you then good for you but having eaten here regularly (2 times a week) give or take over the past 13 years I can tell you for sure, they've switched to cheaper meat and the kitchen seems to burn everything black and hope for the best. Longhorns used to be my favorite hands down but that was 10 years ago. They've since been replaced by texas roadhouse who's food and service are generally really good. There's no excusable reason for longhorns to cheap out on meat and other low quality food or untrained help with no support from knowledgeable management. One manager told me I just needed to order my food different so they wouldn't burn it so bad. I told him that after a comment like that he was clearly part of the problems there.

This one puzzles me. We went as a group of about 10 people, give or take 1 or 2. Came in and got sat down, quick as lightning, somewhere between 11:30 and noon. Which is surprising because isn’t the 11 - 12 noon hour smack dab in the middle of the lunch rush??? I mean, the Longhorn in West Chester at 11 - 12 noon on ANY given day of the week is PACKED! You can’t buy a seat. Or has it been so long since I have been there that my memory is no longer the reality? But I digress, the food… GREAT! Everyone LOVED their food!!! No exceptions!!! Service: exemplary. Couldn’t have been better!!! Atmosphere? With no one in the restaurant? Non-existent! I can hardly give a rating to something that doesn’t really exist! This IS GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE… Why, WHY????? is the place NOT PACKED? Grab your co-workers and go people! Before the rest of the world that eats food discovers the secret!!!!! I give this place an 89 out of 100. Just Barely under that five star rating. (91 would have been 5 stars sorry guys that metal thing in your foyer really needs to be fixed, replaced or covered somehow.) GO NOW! Get food! Why aren’t you storming the place? I am seriously confused and… puzzled…

Sometimes you just need a steak as a guilty pleasure, or as a reward for a hard day of work. In my case it was a gift the almighty attaboy for accomplishment on a kitchen remodel diy style. That is a whole nother story! We tried to go to longhorn at Harrison avenue. After an hour try, the steak God sent us elsewhere. A terrible accident, all five lanes were shut down. We even tried to circle around. No way know how. That brings me to the rest of the story. Found ourselves at colerain longhorn. No wait seating, we snuggled up in a booth. Ordered two of their finest porterhouse steaks cooked medium, onions and mushrooms of course. For appetizers we got mushrooms covered in a delicious cheese sauce. They brought warm bread add butter delicious. Ordered a shrimp and peppers, had a little kick, but very enjoyable. The appetizers kept us busy until the main course arrived. Two beautiful porterhouse steaks separated by a loaded baked potato and side salad, the other sweet potato with broccoli. Crooked perfect and tasted wonderful just what the doctor ordered. The waitress was great and very attentive. The place was warm and inviting.

Worst service I've ever had! We first ordered the wild west shrimp as an appetizer. It had WAY too much salt, enough to to kill a horse. For my meal, I got the 6 oz steak with ribs. I asked for extra seasoning on my steak, and ribs no sauce, but add seasonings. My husband got the porterhouse. He also asked for extra seasoning on his as well. His steady was so hard, you couldn't cut it. My ribs were full of sauce, and she was gonna bring me extra sauce! So she supposedly had more cooked.she brought them back 20 minutes later, and you could tell the scraped the sauce off. So, we ask for the manager. The server got her, but also advised me that they were close friends. She had ANOTHER 30 minute wait. I didn't even hardly eat. Manager was no help at all. When you as for a refill on tea, common sense tells you that the person wants ice as well. She poured more tea in his cup, with no ice. Mind you we waited the entire 30 minute for the drinks. She cared more about the rich looking tables, and ignored us because we are truck drivers. We eat at Longhorns 5 times a month at least. This is the worst experience ever. After being there over 2 hrs, we finally get the ticket, and guess what? We were charged twice for the same item!! Lisa, you dont need to be a waitress. And your little speech about you not wanting me to forget your name, because next time, she will get my order right 👍👍 over 100$ later, we left. No tip whatsoever!! I wasn't looking for anything free at all, which, nothing was offered to begin with. Sad just because everyone there was with big parties, church groups and such. And here we were, in sweatpants and hoodies, because, yea it's cold. Lisa needs more training, and maybe remind her that servers have pads to write orders down, especially when there is picky eaters...

Very disappointed in the way my husband and I were treated by the staff at this Longhorn. Needless to say we will never dine at Longhorn again.

We called to join the wait list after attempting to join online but, because our party was over six people, it said we needed to call. When someone finally answered, the girl was unbelievably rude. She wasn't really listening to what my husband was saying, and when she asked his name, she kept calling him Jane even after he spelled his name (James) to her. This repeatedly occurred and it was clear she was doing it on purpose. She refused to give her name and hung up on my husband. I called back and got the same rude girl and asked to speak with a manager and the girl put me on hold and never came back. I called again, got the same girl, and explained she had left me hold and never transferred me. She was rude again, said it was busy and she would do her best to get a manager on the phone. When the manager finally answered (I think her name was Courtney or maybe Kaitlin but I can't remember for sure), I explained about the rudeness of the girl and the manager didn't seem at all concerned. No apologies or anything. I don't even know for sure if she was the manager or just a friend of the other girl.

It was Mother's day and I understand they were busy but there was absolutely no reason for the staff to behave so poorly and in such an unprofessional manner. My family and I were looking forward to spending time together but the staff of this Longhorn showed absolutely no consideration...
