Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in College Station

Ice cream is good, wish there were a few more flavor options but... The service I received as a first time guest at this establishment was horrendous. The cashier appears to hate her job and the fact that people had the audacity to interrupt whatever it was that she was doing in the back. I explained to her that this was my first visit, she kept asking me questions and I wasn't quite sure how to answer, again, I reinterated that I was a first time customer hoping that would prompt her to explain how to order correctly, but nope. My husband and I were the only customers in the store so it wasn't like we were holding up a line or etc, she could have taken 1 min to welcome us, maybe offer us a sample, explain sizing and other options for ordering. Won't be back as long as she is there, plenty of other places that would be happy to take my money and give me great...

Went in today and Katie was amazing. She was the ONLY one serving guests. There were four people ahead of me and five behind. Another girl, Kaylee, would poke out, look at the line and then disappear. It took a good 10 minutes for us to get our ice cream. Two guests behind me left in frustration. It was obvious Katie was trying her best to keep up, but she wasn’t getting ANY support from the other staff. Kaylee seemed to think our frustration was amusing. When i asked Katie for her name, she apologized and told me she was nervous. It’s a shame there isn’t a better support system for newer employees. I saw cameras in your facility. I compel you to take a closer look at your employees. This was at 3:15...

This was my first/second time (well… fourth time time now) having cold stone. We ordered a birthday cake from cold stone. It was the “Tall, dark,delicious” cake. We can customize the cake! It was awesome! Definitely get more next time!

Update: we ordered another flavor for the bday cake. It was okay, I will still recommend the talk dark and delicious instead of this strawberry flavor!

Update: I guess we really like cold stone and we really wanna try all the flavors for the ice cream cake! This time we tried oreo and cream. The cake was prettier than the strawberry one. It was delicious, like always, but a little bit too sweet! For three flavors, I like “tall dark delicious” “strawberry” ...
