Visited this place on Nov 15th around 3:15 pm with a friend. I was wondering who the rude cashier was, and the receipt told me: Nikki.
I grabbed just a drink but the meal for the person behind me was already there. I understand she would think it's mine. But I was just there assuming I'm just paying for the drink but after I swiped my card I realized I was paying for a whole meal. I told Nikki I was getting the drink only and here she is letting out the biggest sigh of her life, rolling her eyes ,and staring at me like I made the biggest mistake of my life. Then she says to me in the rudest tone, "Did you not hear me when I said thirteen twenty seven?". Excuse me? Is it my fault that you don't know how to resolve a simple refund? The manager was courteous to do the refund for her but wow this lady needs to be trained. I don't know if she had a rough day, or she's biased against asians, but don't go around pouring your anger onto someone else. Especially your customer. This just came shocking to me because I had never received this type of treatment at a restaurant. Sure, I could've paid attention a little more attention to listen to the price called, but do I deserve that kind of ridiculous...
Read morePiada has great food no doubt but their customer service and satisfaction, I just learned tonight, is horrible. So this week they had this BOGO promo for teachers. I am only a TA but as an educator, I called them last Wednesday to ask if I can claim the deal and they said yes. Of course that very same day I got my dinner to go from them, I did get the BOGO deal. Tonight, Friday, I took another TA friend back with me to Piada, knowing that the deal is also good for us TAs. To my surprise whoever was manager tonight said we are ineligible, which is again in stark contrast to what I enjoyed and appreciated last Wednesday. I told them I did get a BOGO deal that day and that tonight they were singing a different tune. They still denied me of that educator privilege. So I told them they just lost two customers, not just tonight but probably up to the far-reaching future. If they had just said yes to me tonight, I don't know, I would have given them free promotion and maybe my dinner every night from them? Well...
Read morePut an order in through doordash, and went to go pick it up. The girl rudely said "we don't know what happened to your order, and we have to make 6 more orders before we can remake yours." When I asked what happened to it, she said "I don't know, someone probably stole it." No apology or empathy. Right before I was about to leave, the manager came out with the order. The girls laughed and nobody apologized or took any responsibility, not even the manager. They acted like it was a joke and refused to admit they had made a mistake and just forget where they put the order. Will never go here again and will tell others not to. Professionalism is important, and giggling and acting like your rudeness and incompetence is funny while not even admitting you messed up is completely unacceptable.
Got home, and both orders were completely wrong as well. I specifically got one dish because it wasn't spicy, and they gave me a spicy one. Also asked for penne in the other dish and they gave spaghetti. Do...
