Seth is a mind reader, knowing exactly what I want every time, keen to the differences between the many roasts, and stays on point. Brianna is super catty, chatty and has the bar on lock down. Victoria has straight up hustle, eagle eyes that see all and is an all around incredibly PIN-tastic Partner. You can catch Zane on the bar combining a fast pace with a willingness to engage with customers in friendly convo. Mackenzie is a rock star who has an amazing ability to get me to try new and tasty drinks, all ways keeping it fresh and exciting with her airy breeze. Big Ben intuitively knows what time it is keeping the Pike Place flowing fresh while perceiving and attending to Peoples needs till the last bite.
But seriously once in a blue moon you might ask yourself " when was the last time I saw the sun rise at Starbucks?"
So as you stroll in to see what you've been missing, catching Ashley's bright eyes and bushy tail, stopping you dead in your tracks, for a morning whiff, inhaling a LATTE of whip creamy inspiration just as Crystal floats in on a breeze straight out of one of those fancy French shampoo commercials, she's managing with ten years experience and if you ask me I'd swear she started at 17. SNAP!!! Is that Brandy swirling and twirling like 180 proof, imitating a snifter, trapping aromas of espresso while Lauren tops off your blonde roast, so BOLD, so smooth, bringing boots and braids, tall, grande, venti, you know you want to come stick your straw in a TRENTA of that PASSION TEA.
Breyland has fit in nicely, exhibiting a quick memory, recalling People's names while shuffling about with fancy footwork, maintaining a wildly steady and familiar orbit around the sphere.
A good story doesn't start at the beginning but a quality team begins and ends with leadership. Victoria is so good she deserves another mention for I have witnessed her engage problem solving skills and de-escalation tactics with equanimity, diverting a potential disaster. Courtney gets the award for being the most color full as well as a solid closer that everyone misses dearly when off for her witty strut among other things. Hannah, with her glowing gleaming sparkling ability to handle whatever comes her way is beyond words in many ways but I feel that she is the glue that holds it together. Aaron is a rock like army strong Starbuckian soldier carrying the weight of many on his back for the long haul without complaint, opening the doors before the sun comes up whom I've considered a friend since before we met. Laurel flew a long way to get where she's at, quickly flapping her bright and sunny wings in a Golden State of exuberance earning her the votes of her teammates and the title "Partner of the quarter" Yayaaah, keep it POPPYing Laurel;)
Now that you've been properly introduced I hope you enjoy one of the larger locations in town with comfy chairs, lots of plugs, ample outside seating, if there is a line it moves fast, pluss the restrooms are always clean, stocked and fresh. The outside trash cans are emptied regularly which isn't always the case at every Starbucks. I love this place and everyone...
Read moreExtremely poor customer received today. I felt attacked from the red/blonde haired gentleman in a maroon Texas A&M shirt. I pulled up to the drive thru window and was immediately verbally attacked. Not greeted with a friendly smile or hello. Instead, he said abruptly "Next time, you need to place your mobile order sooner. This really puts us in a bind when you order while in line." WOW!! The sheer audacity this staff member has to address a customer in this manner! I was truly taken aback at this "greeting" He also forgot my 2 blueberry muffins because he was too concerned with telling me what I should and should not do, to actually focus on delivering me all of the items that I ordered. I am really saddened at this situation as I visit this store once or twice a week minimum and ALWAYS receive great service, this time was total opposite. I felt attacked as he "scolded" me. I would consider never returning to this location or any others, but I know this was not a regular occurrence. This particular staff member needs some serious customer service training and I hope this is addressed appropriately. I did call the shift manager on duty who was very kind and apologetic. She listened to me and heard my frustrations and I appreciated...
Read moreNo available at hand sugar or sweeteners. You get your coffee on the table, your name gets called, and then need to wait, until someone decides to show up again, to ask for the sugar. And the guys attending drive-ins just ignore you.
Update after 1 year, the same issue. I had to ask for sweetener. The attendant with headphones could not hear me at first. Then blamed covid for not having them at hand. Almost any other coffee place in town has them available now. So definitively the managers don't care at all about walk in customers, only about drive ins. Maybe I will give it another try in one year but meanwhile I will go to other Starbucks that appreciate customers more.
If you care for our opinion just solve the problems.
Update 2 - Received again an automated answer redirecting me to Starbucks web page. Does the store have a manager who reads...
