Subway — Restaurant in College Township

On Sunday 10/19/2025 at 1pm I asked the sales person for a receipt for my online order. She told me she didn’t have my order and couldn’t help me and walked away to make sandwiches for people just getting into line. I patiently waited as she made food for the two customers and an additional four more people that came into the store. After waiting, she walked up to me and handed me subs for Adam. I’m not Adam. I told her that’s not my order and she walked away again saying she can’t see my order. I called out to her, can I please get my receipt printed? I pulled up debit card transactions on my phone proving that I purchased food at the Benner pike subway in state college, yet she kept saying she didn’t see my order and walking away. I asked for the manager, she told me her name is April and that she is the manager. And then walked away again. I hope she’s Lying about being a Manager, because being able to access past transactions and printing receipts is not an uncommon task for a store manager.

I gave up trying to get help from “April” the “Manager”. This experience makes me never want to go to Subway again. I was patient and wanted someone to help me obtain a receipt and I kept getting ignored and basically told that I’m being unreasonable.

I worked in many restaurants. We always tried to make the order right or fix any problems that a customer was having. Not Subway inside the Walmart. That place is run by miserable employees that take out frustration on people trying to purchase lunch. I’m not spending any more money at that Subway. I won’t bother April for a sandwich or a receipt. That’s too much for her and she has no regional manager either apparently. It’s just her all by herself with no owner or manager above her. The food is subpar and definitely not...

So… this is gonna be long.. but I’d heed everything said here.. because while I did fall victim to being scammed and losing five hundred dollars… I offered to pay it back and they only wrote me up as a result.. told me I still had a job..

Having said all that.. I worked most of my life away in this place because my ex wife was complaining they needed help, they needed someone able to close… so with my superhero complex all bolstered I took the job… I was treated like I couldn’t do anything right even though I was the go to when they had no one.. or needed someone to go show the teen workers how to do something.. my ex wife decided to divorce me and these people not only replaced me with her new boyfriend, when I was told I had job security from shattering my hand four weeks ago. The boss/owner hasn’t even had the decency to fire me himself, in fact no one has.. my exwife told me they don’t want me working there anymore. And the two emails I’ve sent Bob have been completely ignored. Be warned they will do anything andie says or wants… if she wants you fired for no reason at all… they will....

I got the teriyaki chicken 6” sub with the chip and soda combo. It was very quick, the man taking my order was incredibly nice and then the lady who did the payment complimented my hat and was just incredibly sweet! I hope they both have an amazing Christmas!

The food was excellent— one of the best subs I’ve had. Two of the sodas in the drink machine were out of order, but that was labeled and I still had options. They were out of lays original chips, but this was also the rush before Christmas Eve; I don’t blame them! Those were the only issues I came across.
