This location is a complete hit or miss; there is very little consistency. They are either fantastic (fast service and perfect orders) or completely terrible (drinks made completely wrong or sloppily, very slow service, items missing from orders). I have placed mobile orders and had them ready within minutes despite being fairly busy, and I’ve placed mobile orders and had them not be ready for over 15 minutes despite there being very few customers. I have been here every day of the week in the mornings, and by far the absolute worst day to go is Sunday.
The worst experience I’ve ever had was when I placed a mobile order about 12 minutes before I arrived at like 6:15 am (about 2-4 minutes after my expected pick up) and my order was not ready. Normally I wouldn’t be upset, especially if they were busy. But when I arrived there were no other customers inside and no one in the drive thru lane. Even so, not a single employee was behind the counter. There were 2 employees standing next to the food display case and 1 sitting down at a table in the lobby. Once I walked in and stood by mobile pickup, that was when they finally realized they had an order. Despite mine being the only order, they still managed to not make my drink properly; it was so bad I could barely drink it but I didn’t have time to go back to ask them to remake it.
I worked at Starbucks for a little bit a while back, so I understand that there is always some degree of inconsistency, but customers shouldn’t have to order plain iced chais in order to know that their drink is going to be made correctly. Read moreThe employees at this location are very rude. I placed a mobile order on my way to the store thinking it would give them more time to make my order. I pull through the drive thru and they tell me “you placed your order 3 minutes ago and we have 5 orders ahead of you so please go through the drive thru again.” This makes absolutely 0 sense because if I just ordered through the microphone it would be ready by the time I got to the window. So if anything I’m helping you by giving more time. Anyway. I then proceed to wait at least 5 minutes for the person in front of me to get their order which was a waste of time since I had to go back through but was trapped. I then come back through and go straight to the window since I already checked in for my order. The girl at the window then tells me to stop at the microphone next time because “they didn’t know what was happening” even though they did know because they told me to come back through. I explained to her that this is my second time around and my order is ready she then just stares at me spitefully and says well we had 15 orders ahead of you. Somehow the number tripled….She then gives me a bread that I requested be warmed and it was very cold. This is a repeated experience with this specific location. I place mobile orders and pick them up shortly after in the drive through all the time and have no issues. The baristas are friendly, accommodating and happy to spike up a conversation with you.
When you walk-in, to the left you will notice large beautiful art work on the wall, near the Pick-Up counter. The counter offers additional three chairs to enjoy your order or get work done.
You will notice one large table by the entrance, accommodating 8 chairs. If you’re looking to lounge and unwind, you will find 4 plush leather chairs in the corner to the left of the entrance.
Music is set at comfortable level enough to converse at soft level. The staff does great job at helping their customers order what they want, both inside and Drive Thru. They offer complimentary, personal touch. They know their returning customers by first name and ask, “Would you like your usual?”
When I ordered my hot coffee, first time, it was freshly roasted and brewed by Claudia. She was so kind and thoughtful in preparing my drink. Few hours later I ordered refill and had my cup refilled with a genuine smile, by Caleb, “Did you want any room for cream?”
The setting feels laid back and relaxed, regardless whether you’re coming here to getaway from stressful environment or to come get work done.
