Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Collinsville

Getting off work decided to stop by Jimmy John’s to get me a sandwich. Get my order , get home and eat. Half way thru my sandwich it’s hair in my sandwich! I’m soooooo disappointed and upset I normally don’t do this but I went back to let them know it’s hair in my food . I ask to speak to a manager he said “There is nothing we can really do about that I mean is sometimes it happens “ so I’m really upset now because how is this normal to you? This is NOT normal and neither should a place like this be open if this is how you think! I asked for a refund he said he don’t know how to do a refund ! And I find that hard to believe as a manager myself. This right here just shows you have kids running a sandwich place I pull up they sitting on the counter with they behind on counter . Not caring for what kind of food they make people . No wonder no one was in the drive thru at the time of service . I asked again for a refund and why he don’t know how to do a refund as a manager he said his “GM” never showed him how to do it . And that he can only do refunds for online orders! Such a disgrace! Such a waste of my time and my day was totally ruined. Please don’t go here!!! They even told me the GM doesn’t have a phone number and don’t answer calls. Just completely...

Today was my first time coming to this location. I LOVE JIMMY JOHNS! I parked in handicap as I should because I have a disability not a physical one but I have one and I shouldnt have to explain it too anyone its 2023 !!! I was waiting on my sandwich for twenty mins (they were busy) another customer walks in with his mother and orders and sits down starts yelling at me saying he was going to block my car in for parking lot and call the police because i parked in the handicap spot. It no one’s business what disability I have but my plates are legit and I have handicap plates. I asked him to stop talking to me I have every right to park there and told him to call the police, he continues to yell at me but as soon as i yelled back the supervisor/manager yells call the police. I WAS THERE FIRST AND HE APPROACHED ME WITH THE NEGATIVITY but i had to leave without my food while he ate there with his mother. The fact IS NO ONE SPOKE UP AGAINST HIM. He definitely was awarded for his behavior AND I WILL NOT SUPPORT ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT ME. The whole situation was embarrassing and the staff members need to be trained on how to handle that instead of catering...

This is a Jimmy John's and they make your sandwich like all the other Jimmy John's. Their service leaves a lot to be desired though. I've been to the drive thru before and have been told it's a 15 minute wait because they have a catering order they are making and won't make any other sandwiches until that's done. I was the only one in the drive thru.

Today was the cherry on top though. Ordered online for delivery at 1130, no sandwich by 12, called "we've been really busy but your sandwich just left.". Get sandwich at 1215 and girl can't find the house. It's 4/20, and if you want to smoke, whatever, but the bag our food in smells like this girl was exhaling marijuana into the bag. The cup has a clinging odor and we had to throw it away. I'm ok with celebrating, but maybe don't hot box your car with people's...
