This Einstein’s Brothers it’s just up the road from me so I have used it frequently. I ordered the same thing each time, a thin bagel, two egg whites and sausage. No cheese… please do not cut in half. I don’t think those are very difficult request, but yet nine times out of 10 my request is not made. This afternoon I went in because I have not had breakfast yet. I ordered my usual sandwich and checked it out when I got in the car, it was cut in half, so I went back inside and told them. Normally I just take the sandwich anyhow, today I was fed up with my order not being as I asked…again!. When they started to make a new sandwich, I noticed that they were heating up the egg whites in the microwave. I told her that I did not want microwave egg whites, because they are normally very rubbery. The young lady behind the counter was not very nice when I gave her back the sandwich that I did not want, she threw it on the counter and then threw it in the trash in a manner of frustration. Each time she went to the manager and told him and I could hear her and she sounded very sassy. The first time she said, “I cut it in half” in a very demeaning manner. The second time after I told her, I didn’t want the rubbery eggs and wanted my money back she went over there again and said, “she wants her money back”, yet another demeaning manner. When I got into the store, it was around 12:45. When the manager was reimbursing me at 12:57 I was telling him how disappointed I was and how I didn’t appreciate his employees attitude. I also told him that this happens more often than not. He told me that he would talk to his staff. When I told him that I did not like microwave eggs because they are rubbery he said “I know, but we closed the grill down early so we can clean up”. One of the reasons I come to Einstein for my sandwiches is because they cook the eggs fresh. They close the store at 2:00 in the afternoon so why is the grill closed at 12:45. I think that is a poor way of...
Read morenever. ever. EVER go here. the only thing they serve is disappointment. i went here at around 11:20 am wanting to get a nova lox bagel. seeing that it cost 8soemthing dollars i got an avocado egg bacon bagel instead cuz cheapness. (it was 5.47) took them 20+ minutes to get it out to me. i had been standing in line for roughly 15 minutes then i went to the bathroom, stood for another 10 or so until the cook and cashier whispered to each other and gave me my order. kinda disappointing, but i wouldn’t really blame them too much since of course the one time i step out of the room, they call my name. it wasn’t even that busy and i counted five staff members on the floor. and even then they seemed stressed and disorganized. really unsatisfactory because when i did try my bagel it was nasty. the egg white was bland and tasted of old grease. there was hardly any bacon, the avocado was flavorless, and the bagel it was on tasted like it was a week old. you’d think a bagel company would have mastered making…bagels. the last time i went here, my experience was terrible (they gave me no cream cheese on my “bagel and cream cheese”) and i’m quite frustrated and sad that i gave them a second chance and wasted my money. if a nova lox bagel i made myself is better and cheaper, you know einstein’s doing something wrong. please never go to this shop, it’s terrible and you will...
Read moreWe usually go to the location across town, but I decided to try this one out today. They got every aspect of my order wrong, and the girl who made the order acted like I was the most trying customer just for asking her to give me what I ordered. I ordered a bagel sandwich combo with potato salad. She originally tried to give me only the sandwich without either of the sides. When I mentioned that it was a meal and I ordered the potato salad, she just turned around without saying a word, threw it in a bag with the sandwich and handed it back to me. I checked the bag for the pickle that should’ve been included and it was missing. I told her that there should be a pickle as well. She responded by rolling her eyes, turning her back to me while packing up the pickle, and silently handed me the pickle and walked away without another word. I’ve just gotten in the car and checked the order again. I asked for no tomato, but it is on the sandwich (not a huge deal as I’ll just pull it off, but annoying). I won’t be returning to...
