A friend and I went here to enjoy a nice bite and a drink. We looked it up briefly, and the drinks looked good, so we figured we'd try somewhere new. We were hoping to get some quality mexican cuisine with a few nice drinks. However, the food was nowhere near mexican cuisine. We couldn't even get chips and queso. We settled for the dip tray but weren't aware that a spoonful of gauce to go along with salsa was $5, on top of a 15$ salsa tray. The chips were cold and tasted like they dumped it right out of a great value bag.. The dirty horchata tasted like watered down rice water and watered down alcohol.. Picture doesnt match the taste.. The hibiscus margarita was okay but really sweet. The atmosphere was cool when we walked in, but it was super loud, and we were stared at by obvious regulars as if we didn't belong, which I dont think we did. The server who was pregnant was very sweet and kind. She was probably the best part of our experience. All together, we paid 50$ for salsa, chips, and two drinks... Unfortunately, we won't be back. I'm sure their business will flourish with the more gentrified community.

We tried Dos Dos last week for the first time & was blown away at how delicious the food & service was. Particularly how generous the taco portions were. We were recommended the governor taco which was awesome as well as the cauliflower & tuna. Our 2nd time going we ordered the governor tacos & was unpleasantly disappointed by the lack consistency in not only the taste but the amount that was inside. It was dry & literally 1 bites worth. It was almost insulting how little there was. When we brought it up to our waitress she said that was the normal portion. I told her when we came last week there was at least 3x the amount of food in our tacos. I do wish I took a pic of them the 2nd time as a reference from our previous time which I completely forgot I did have a pic of until after. Overall we were disappointed at the inconsistency of the tacos & lack of making it right. The Cojita dip was fabulous both times but tacos were way too inconsistent. I have attached a video of the 1st time we went as a reference of what it should’ve been like.

We came here a few days ago for lunch. It was absolutely disgusting. It's definitely not Mexican! Everything from salsa to tacos were SWEET!! TOO MUCH SUGAR!! There is no sugar in tacos!! The chicken had some weird sweet mayonnaise sauce was nasty. Very expensive.. $6 for 1 tiny taco what a rip off for disgusting food! The chairs were metal kids chairs low to the ground, and music was so loud you had to scream across the small table. The manager to annoyed to come to table and say something. Beware!! If I could give a negative -100 I definitely would. Tacos are approximately 4 inches or less.. definitely not worth the money. We ended up not eating what was on round dish they served my mom and my plate on together we took one bite of. My dad ate his and being a taco lover he didn't like the sauce that was on the beef. We ended up paying $20 for 2 tiny nasty tacos and sweet salsa we barely ate! Was in a hurry for lunch had to go through taco bell ( not really my choice) but was way better than Dos Santos!! And that says a lot!!

Okay, so if you haven't been to Dos Santos in Colorado Springs yet, you're seriously missing out. It's not just the food that's amazing (because, yes, it absolutely is), but the people there make the whole experience 10/10.

First up, Isabel runs the place like a total boss. She’s everywhere making sure everything's smooth and everyone’s happy. It's like she's got this magic touch that makes the whole vibe just work.

Then there’s Hannah at the bar – she’s basically a wizard with drinks. Whether you’re into something classic or looking for a new favorite, she’s got you. Plus, she always greets you with the kind of smile that makes your day better.

Mishae and Juice are the dynamic duo of service. Mishae’s got this knack for making you feel taken care of, and Juice brings the energy. They make dining out feel like hanging out with friends who happen to serve great food.

And can we talk about LumberJoe? Dude’s like the cool friend everyone wishes they had. He knows his stuff, gives great recs, and seriously, his nickname alone is a reason to stop by.

The whole crew at Dos Santos makes you feel like family. They're the secret sauce to why this place rocks. The food draws you in, but it’s the laughs, the chats, and the chill times with Isabel, Hannah, Mishae, Juice, LumberJoe, and everyone there that keep you coming back. Seriously, give Dos Santos a visit. It’s a blast in every way.

They ALWAYS take care of my entire team in the best way. Poseidon...

My fiancée and I have a soft spot for Dos Santos in downtown Colorado Springs—one of our earliest dates was here—and each return visit reminds us why it remains an essential stop for modern Mexican fare.

On this visit we were welcomed immediately by the hostess and chose seats at the bar. Mari, our bartender, delivered exemplary service: she knew the menu inside‑out, offered thoughtful pairing suggestions, and mixed our cocktails with precision and good cheer—hospitality that genuinely elevated the experience.

The kitchen’s approach to tacos balances tradition with inventive flair. Every taco showcased both classic fillings and creative combinations, each plate arriving artfully composed yet unpretentious. The Bloody Mary struck just the right spicy‑citrus balance, while the Espresso Martini was smooth, well‑rounded, and perfectly chilled.

Whether you sit on the airy patio or inside the sleek, light‑filled dining room, the atmosphere blends relaxed comfort with modern polish. Outstanding food, attentive service, and a hip yet welcoming vibe make Dos Santos an easy recommendation for anyone seeking elevated tacos and well‑crafted cocktails in...

Walking into Dos Santos and we immediately loved the vibe with the popping music and the quirky decor. We enjoyed hibiscus margaritas (the seasoning for the rolled rim did not go well at all kinda spicy, but again we still loved the drink itself!) The guac was amazing and had the perfect amount of chips. All the tacos were fantastic and very good options. However, the reason for the 4 stars are the menus were very filthy. Sticky and even some food on them. The other was the server. We are a group of 4 women in our late twenties so we knew we would be carded. It was the fact she talked to us in a baby voice and treated us like children. We heard her talk to another table and they did not get the same treatment. She also gave us 1 bill without asking and walked off for so long, that one of us just paid for the whole thing. Please also note that if you have a food allergy, you have to request that your tacos have to be plated separately or they will all be brought out together on one platter. So if you are unaware of this, it could lead to a poor situation. Overall we would go back, but we encourage anyone going to be aware of...
