Dunkin’ Donuts is literally the worst place to go for coffee. If they make your drink correctly, it’s outstanding, but nine times out of 10 you’re going to get the wrong drink or you’re going to get a drink made poorly, by a worker that really doesn’t care about their job. We repeatedly get drinks that don’t taste right we never go consistently and get a drink that is the same that we ordered the day before, but we continue to go and give them a chance after chance. Today I went to the location on Austin Bluffs I ordered through the Mobile app I ordered 10 munchkins and a small caramel craze iced latte and a medium caramel crazed iced latte made with oat milk. When I get there the order is not ready, they say that they don’t have any old milk can they use almond milk instead, I say OK that’s fine. I get up to the window she handed me the caramel craze iced latte, it has no whip cream or the caramel on top. She then handed me the almond milk iced latte which does have whip cream and the caramel on top. I asked her if she can add whip cream to my caramel craze since that’s how it’s supposed to be served and she looked at me weird like I ordered it wrong and then goes and does it. And then after she brings a drink she says thank you goodbye without giving me my munchkins. I let her know hey I had an order of munchkins she goes and makes those. While she’s getting those I’m looking at the almond milk drink and it’s completely white. It’s just milk it’s all milk no caramel no coffee. I had already pulled off and on my way to work so I call back to the store and speak to the lady that made the drinks. She tells me the ingredients and tells me they should be make correctly blah blah blah but there’s no way there’s espresso in my drink when it’s 100% white. So she tells me she can take my name down and I can come back for a free drink another time but I need to hold on for a second so she can do her drive-through orders, I waited for five minutes and she never came back to the phone so I hung up and now I’m going to start my Saturday by drinking a glass of almond...
Read moreI like doing mobile pickup orders here. Every other time I’d come up to the mobile order station, stand there, and they’d approach and ask me who I’m picking up for. Quick, easy experience. The last time I went however, was awkward, and I don’t really wanna go back. I stood by the mobile order station for a while, was not approached, the manager on duty or something was taking food requests for their family and I moved out of the way to sit in a nearby chair. After several customers came and went, still not approached in anyway, I really thought it was odd the workers chose not to make themselves accessible to me. (Ask if I needed anything, ask if I was picking up, anything.) they just Kinda looked at me funny. I had to come up to the counter and ask only to then hear “yeah it’s over there.” It was sitting (not on the mobile order counter where anyone can see) but behind the counter with another worker, and they just kept looking at me waiting to approach. It was like that for a half hour idk how long exactly. Being a retail worker, I feel the need to comment on it. My job when I’m clocked in is to assist and approach customers who are waiting for something. Especially when I was obviously standing by mobile orders before. The feeling I got from their attitude even if I was overthinking it, made me feel so awkward trying to navigate if they’re approachable or not. Context I’m neurodivergent. I understand you don’t want to interact with people who aren’t your co workers on the clock, but it’s your job to know more about how the store runs than us, and therefore be the one approaching when a person looks confused...
Read moreSo we had a very terrible experience yesterday. It was my birthday and I absolutely loves the powdered jelly donuts. We arrived around 11 AM And came into the store To see that they only had 2 small racks of of glaze donuts only left. When we ask them when they would have more jelly doughnut available they told us it wouldn't be till the following day. Dunkin' donutsHas the word donut in the title. We both found it very off putting that that a Donut shop that's open until 6 PMWas completely out of donuts. That makes absolutely no sense to me. It's always out of our way to stop by Duncan. So after driving out of our way specifically on my birthdayJust to show up and walk away with nothingLeft us more than upset. How can a donut shop not have donuts only halfway through the day? When my mom and I try to get to the bottom of it, The employees just looked at us and talked to us like weWe're out of line for expecting donuts at a donut shop. There was 3 or 4 employees on staff with one of them doing something and the other 2 are 3 standing around. I just found the situation to be completely off putting. It pains me to say this but I don't think I'll be returning to Dunkin' donuts again. I would like someone from upper management or corporate to contact meBecause I would like to Get some answers. This is the 3rd time that this has happened to us. I have Refrained from leaving leaving a letter up until this point but but after multiple multiple timesOf having the same horrible experience I feel like it's now time for...
