I’ve come to this restaurant several occasions and they never had any sort of issues at all. Recently, for the past three visits they have messed up literally everything. The first time, they charged our card 8 different occasions, even though we ordered once. Taking around $440, which in itself is ridiculous, they then on the same visit, missed an entire side of potatoes and utensils. The customer service was absolutely horrendous as well. Then the second time, they messed up an order. The third and final time was today, where they completely missed a whole entire entree in my order, then handled it with the worst customer service possible. As a manager that works in food service, these employees need to do better. I understand it is busy, but bagging orders and following a ticket is one of the simplest things to do, and yet they couldn’t do it three different times. I used to really like this place because the food is good but lord, after three chances, I will never come back again. STAY AWAY! and make sure you check your bank to make sure they aren’t charging several different times. UPDATE: Went back to the store after I called and told them my whole entree was missing, they said they would do a remake. Pretty sure it wasn’t a remake because the container for the soup is cool to the touch, as well as the soup, and the burger was cold to the touch as well. So yeah it just keeps getting worse, obviously microwaves exist but come on man just do the actual remake. I didn’t take forever to get to the store, maybe 10-15 minutes, no way the remake would be cold by then....
Read moreI went to the Academy location on Friday and then again on Sunday. On Friday's visit it took approximately 40 minutes to get our breakfast (after ordering); French toast, pancakes, and the breakfast hash. The server was nice and when I said something on the way out the only response was, it's great to be busy. On Sunday it took over 35 minutes to get our food (after ordering); two omelets, french toast, and kids crepe. This time I asked to speak with the manager and was told a manager was not available because the manager was in the kitchen but the very nice girl at the register said she could help. The girl at the register gave us one of this meals for free but honestly, after two disappointing visits, this restaurant has bigger issues than just giving away one free meal; they only will get one more chance to have me as a customer. I don't mind waiting when it makes sense but a restaurant with several empty tables (while several people wait outside to get a table) there is no excuse. The manager needs to be in the front of the house instead of in the kitchen. If there are issues in the kitchen which require a managers attention then employ a 2nd manager. Both visits I had a very nice server and the food was a little...
Read moreThis place is okay. I didn’t have too many expectations, so I wasn’t disappointed though I have to say that there are better places around for this price point. Maybe this place is great for First Watch’s standards but for $40 for two, it was subpar at best. Service was fairly slow and we had to wait for quite a while for our food despite the fact that the place was 1/4 full at best. I asked for a side bacon and was given a million dollar bacon portion for $6 🥴 For some reason, it tasted a lot like sunflower oil with sugar. And it was served way before we got our food, so it was cold by the time everything else arrived. Eggs in the Salmon Benedict were undercooked and they forgot to give us the dressing for the salad which eventually took quite some time to arrive. Gosh, were half of the items so salty in the Classic breakfast! I was starving, so I ate most of it, but I can’t say anything was particularly tasty. My toast was salty, too, and the “house preserves” were more like cornstarch mixed with berry syrup. Coffee was quite watery and not good as well. Overall, this is what I would have expected from First Watch but I don’t think I would go...
