Read moreAfter a day of sight-seeing on Monday, my family and I were hungry and looking forward to a delicious early dinner. We arrived here around 4pm, and were seated right away. Our server Brandon promptly came over to take our drink and appetizer order. We chose not to order any appetizers, but went ahead and ordered our drinks and my son’s kids’ meal. Our server said he would give us a couple of minutes to look at the menu and come back. Well, little did we know, those couple of minutes was going to turn into a 25-minute wait just to place our initial order. Our server kept walking back and forth looking at our table but not stopping to take our order. My son’s kids’ pizza came out in about in 10 minutes, but my daughter and I had to wait, and wait, and wait. When Brandon finally came to take our order, he looked overwhelmed and hurried. I ordered the Veggie Burger, and my daughter ordered the Mushroom Burger. At this point, we were past hangry, so we asked him to send out a basket of fries so we could at least have something to eat while we waited for our food. As we waited for our fries, we looked around, no one in our area had food on their tables, and everyone looked frustrated. My daughter and I ended up counting the tables that Brandon was serving and we counted 8 tables. While we continued to wait for our food, they sat two additional tables in Brandon’s section. This gave him a total of 10 tables to serve, no wonder it took so long for him to come back to take our order. Our basket of fries arrived at the table in about 5 minutes, but it was such a small portion between two hungry people, they gave us about 7 fries. My daughter and I split them as we continued to wait for our entrees.
Almost a full hour after we were seated, our food finally arrived at the table. My Veggie Burger was lukewarm, and my daughter's Mushroom Swiss Burger was also warm, and both of our fries were cold. We were both so hungry that we just ate them as is. I complained about the slow service to the woman who came to deliver the food to our table, and she told me that they only had a total of 3 servers working at that time. I told her I was frustrated and asked her why they didn’t turn people away at the door and focus on the customers that they already had sitting at the tables so they could give proper service to those that were here first. She was kind and empathetic about my frustration. Sadly, the Manager never came over to my table to follow up with me.
In the end, our server only came back to our table once after we received our food to collect my son’s plate, and the empty fry basket. He never asked if everything was ok, if we wanted dessert, if we needed to-go boxes, thanked us for coming, apologize about the wait, or instruct us how to pay… Just nothing! Lucky for me, I already knew how to use the kiosk, so I paid for our food, left a review on the kiosk, and we got up and left. The entire experience was frustrating and left us feeling unsatisfied.
Overall, I just feel it’s very greedy to continue to seat new customers when you only have 3 servers in the entire building working. For a server to have over 10 tables to serve, there is absolutely no way those servers can be attentive and give good service to each table, it only leaves the server overworked and overwhelmed, and the customers waiting feeling frustrated, and neglected.
I really hope for this location’s sake that this was an isolated event, and that maybe we just came...
Read moreI was very disappointed with this place. This was the first and last, unfortunately. I was surprised at my experience seeing that it currently has a 4 star rating. We arrived and were sat shortly after. Our waiter was Andy and he was very friendly, but everything else was lacking. We ordered our drinks and it took a while for them to finally arrive. We were ready to begin our order with apps and a kids meal. Andy, in the meantime, was literally sitting with another party next to us. While I don't fault him for making them comfortable, I was not too happy with the lack of attentiveness to not only our table, but others as well. We attempted to do the kiosk, but it wasn't working. As he was making his way to the kitchen, we advised we were ready to order. We asked for pretzel bites, wings with ranch, and a spinach dip as well as a kids menu. Our drinks were mostly empty at that point, but wasn't replenished. It took our apps over 20 minutes for them to come and when it did arrive, no spinach dip and no ranch dip for the wings. The cheese sauce was cold for the pretzel bites and the wings weren't great. When we asked Andy for our ranch and refills, he seemed a bit annoyed. Mind you, he's been spending most of his time with that one party. Finally, we ordered our food. My burger was okay. I didn't order an A1 burger, but funny, that's all I could taste. My sister, however, ordered the A1 and there was no flavor. I asked for garlic herb fries and received regular fries. We looked at our tab and noticed that all the items missing weren't even punched in. We didn't finish our food or take it with us. Overall, the service sucked and the food sucked. I feel like I would've gotten better service and food at a Chucky Cheese or a McDonald's. Now, when it comes to tipping, I believe I'm a fair to great tipper. If I get awesome service, you're gonna get 20% or more. I have only given a 5% tip or less twice in my life. This was the second time and I feel like the three dollars we left was...
