I found ROCKS in my food! I have ordered from this place a hundred times and never had anything like this happen! I ordered stir fry with tamarind sauce and brown rice. Last night I ordered and ate half the meal and then ate the leftovers today after work. I didn’t notice anything last night, probably because the rocks were sitting at the bottom.... Well, I was chewing and bit down on something really, really hard. It almost broke my tooth!!!! At first, I thought it was a hard piece of rice that didn’t cook all the way. But when I spit it out, it was a small pink pebble. I dug around in my food and found two more rocks!!!! The rocks are pink and they look like something you would use in a planter for bamboo or something. I don’t know if something happened in the kitchen where the plant fell and rocks got into the food, Im not sure! Call Thai Basil and the lady could only give me a credit for the meal when I order again . I told her “no! I’m never ordering again from here!” All she could say was “ oh sorry.” That is pathetic! I’m definitely not ordering from this place again! That is dangerous and...

I should start that we have no idea what real Thai food should be, but like to think we have a good idea what the American versions of Thai food are like, we get it in just about any city we live in or visit. Can't speak to service, as we did take out. The Pad Thai was very different than we've had, and overly sweet. The only way to describe it was like orange chicken sauce mixed with pineapple or something? We couldn't even eat it. The panang curry seemed to be like milky soup with some veggies in it, quite disappointing, hard to tell it was poured over the white rice even. Drunken noodles were not terrible, but the noodles were definitely on the small side, heavy on noodles and short on veggies. Springs rolls were a similar story, seem to be stuffed almost wholly with noodles and very little of anything else. The chicken satay was the most ok of what we got, mild in flavor, but that's fine at least in this case. I think the best thing of all was the peanut sauce. Perhaps their other Asian dishes are fine, but to have "Thai" in the name, this was...

First thing first, I am half Thai and my mother is full Thai. So I grew up on Thai food and love it. I've been to many Thai places, some good some not. This falls into the catagory of worst one ever! For starters the food was extremely bland. I couldn't even finish half of my plate. The choices on the menu were extremely limited and when i asked for a specific Thai dish, the server had no idea what it even was! And it was a fairly common Thai dish... Next was the decor. I understand most people not being able to tell one Asian culture from another...but the place was decorated in Chinese, the paintings were of Chinese people, the words were Chinese words. I'm sorry but if you're going to have a Thai resturant, decorate it as such. You don't see Mexican places decorated with Japanese stuff... I understand that they think people wouldn't notice, being ignorant Americans and all, but still... I would not recommend this...

I had heard great things about this restaurant and finally found the opportunity to try it. It is tucked into a corner strip mall, so it could be a bit tricky to get to. I love spicy foods and had the Thai Basil Shrimp as it stated "If you like spicy, this is the dish for you". Personally, it was not spicy at all, but it was definitely delicious. I came here with co-workers and I was able to snap pictures of some of their dishes to include: Pineapple Curry, Pad Thai, Sesame Chicken, and one other beautifully plated dish. If I may, might I suggest to have the option for spicy levels as I have seen at other Thai restaurants. That would be excellent! I plan on trying this place out again to try their extensive menu and to hopefully try the Mango Sticky Rice dessert that I have heard good reviews about.

We chose Thai Basil for dinner! We started off with green tea and appetizers (tender, crunchy coconut shrimp in a sweet dipping sauce and lemongrass mussels with limes and veggies. Sooooo good!) Then we tried a wonderful coconut chicken soup, and the signature dish- Thai Basil shrimp. We were craving something hot so we asked them to make it 'Thai Spicy'. (They can make it as spicy or as mild as you want but I can tell you that if you are craving spicy food that will warm you to your soul, this does NOT disappoint! ) Every thing we got here was so tasty, and the sauces are really unique. They definitely have that 'generations-perfected-family-recipe' kind of flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive and kept our glasses filled. We will definitely be back!

My husband has been eating here for months and I finally have it a try. His food is always delicious, but I wanted to try something else! I ordered the panang curry and it was absolutely delicious! There was quite an assortment of vegetables, all of which were cooked perfectly fork tender. The curry sauce was perfectly spiced and oh, so creamy! I also ordered vegetable egg rolls and steamed dumplings, both of which were as delicious as the rest of the meal. Now on to service: the waitstaff are quick and friendly, and able to make recommendations for any picky eater, including my vegan self! The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the large portion sizes. I will definitely be going back!
