Josh & John's — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I really like the location Downtown, but this one is disappointing. The ice cream is still good, but the service is not on par with the Downtown location.

Let me preface this by saying I work in the service industry and have for many years. I know this store opened recently and I don't believe an experienced manager is in the store often enough. Clearly, these are less experienced associates, My daughter and I waited over 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us at the counter. There was an associate making waffle cones right next to us, and two people making a milkshake with their back turned to us. No one even acknowledged that we were there. When one girl finally realized we were there, she was more interested in continuing a personal conversation with her co-worker than actually taking our order. There's also been a change in the rewards program which the young lady couldn't really explain to me (and I did lose my points). We were very excited to have a location so much closer to our home, as I prefer to support local businesses. Given the service and the price of the ice cream I think I'll just go to...

I’ve been coming to Josh n John’s since I was a kid when they were at the 1st location downtown!! I am super excited to have this store front so close to home! Not to mention the customer service here was TOP NOTCH 💯 I came in on 9/21 @6pm(ish) && there was three high schoolers working. I didn’t know what I wanted yet and one of the girls had me try the new swirl line.. Let’s say extremely delicious! But these three ladies were such a vibe!! They asked how my day was & if I did anything fun. I know it’s small talk but all three were super friendly, funny & very inviting!! I have a teenager myself and honestly it was just AMAZING to see our younger generation being able to maintain a solid work environment and handle it like a boss!! Great job ladies. Don’t know your names but you three were so cute n fun! It definitely vibes with Josh n John’s!!

Wow, is all I have to say. If you are a tourist like me in the Colorado Springs area and are looking for an ice cream place please do yourself a favor and stop by. Coming from Chicago, I think I’d return just for some of this Ice Cream. It was the best Ice Cream and Waffle cone combo I’ve ever had.

Not to mention the service was amazing, 3 workers every day in there when we walk in and every time we have been greeted the second the door opens. Employees are always smiling and quick to answer any questions or requests. They also have all been very kind and they all look like they enjoy working here very much and they have a blast together while doing the job well.

I’ve been here 3 days in a row and I think I’ll be eating here the last 2 days I have here. Definitely stop by if you ever have...
