Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. I truely don't understand how any of these people have a job here.. I walk in with my girlfriend, all three of the workers look and see us standing there.. and ignore us, mind you its a completely empty store, no one in drive up, I continue to wait as they continue with the conversations they are having. No greeting, no one to say 1 second we will be with you. Finally someone comes out to take my order.. I order one medium Turkey bacon club and 1 Large Reuben to go. After arriving home.. We open our food to find the Turkey bacon, was slopped together with black bacon.. The Rueben was literally cheese and meat. NO Sauerkraut or thousand island.. just dry meat on a crunchy loaf.. I call the Store back, asking If I could come back real quick to get another and they tell me that they are closing even though the website says there open till 9:00. It was 7:43 when I called.. So that was the most frustrating part that they wont even fix a mistake because they want to close early. So then I ask, since you wont let me come back to get another sandwich tonight would you please take my name down and what happened so the next time I come in who ever is working knows. He said no it's okay, next time you come in itll be taken care of.. He was very pushy to get off the phone.. Huge waste of...

First time in 20 years of eating at a Schlotzsky's that I've been disappointed. There are no Schlotzsky's in Pueblo so we came up to Colorado Springs to get this. The electronic board showed the ingredients for the veggie pizza as mushrooms and bell pepper. I mentioned to the counter person that I was dismayed that they changed their menu- she said they hadn't that the board was inaccurate. She read me the list of ingredients; cheese, basil pesto, black olives, onion, tomato, bell pepper, mushroom. I said great ordered with extra cheese and black olives. Paid for my extra toppings. My pizza came out lacking bell pepper and mushrooms. I asked the employees and they shrugged and said we're out. After having paid for extra toppings and double verified the toppings that was not really a great response. If you order a bacon cheeseburger and the restaurant is out of bacon and cheese you do expect them to let you know when you place your order or even to apologise as they bring...

I grew up with this wonderful sandwich shop being from Texas and all and after almost 5 decades of dining here I am never disappointed. You literally can’t find bread like this anywhere on planet earth and everything they use the bread for and all the different unique menu items they create with that bread are dynamite as well because the bread is the basis for everything. Absolutely phenomenal sandwich’s that day as I tried a new menu item and wasn’t disappointed at all. The calzone consisting of roast beef, provolone, onions and mushrooms with au juś was absolutely sensational as that bread is always the perfect test for any new items. This hit it out of the park with all the ingredients and the stability of the bread holding it all together. Another marvelous creation from these sandwich MASTERS.
