"I ordered a Vanilla Crème and paid extra for Cherry Crunch Bits on top. The store was out of these, which would normally be fine -- it's only 65¢ -- but it is no longer ok and here is why:
They put a flyer in my order to say they're out and "Please contact your delivery provider for a refund." Apparently Starbucks won't bother with customer service for 65¢.
It would be so easy to call to me, or have the driver contact me , and allow me to choose something else from that same 65¢ list...or be able to say "no, it's ok, thank you". Instead, Starbucks pre printed inserts, where all they do is write what they're out of and shove it into orders. That represents their intent to do this to customers on a regular basis. Now, I (the customer) am forced to contact Doordash to chase down my refund...which takes a LOT more time & effort, but I won't...not for 65¢...and I won't put Doordash through this stupid, avoidable process either. I will keep hold of my dignity.
If you do this enough times for the small amounts, Starbucks can stack up quite a sizable amount of "hustler's change" -- given you sell appropriately 11 million cups of coffee a day and most people won't insist on refunds under a dollar.
This is all in very bad form and doesn't show well on Starbucks. As such, I will no longer return to, or order from, any of your stores ever again. I have been a daily customer for a very long time, and now you have lost...
Read moreThis location doesn't clearly want business. To turn a customer away because they have $100 bill is rejecting US currency. To tell me you don't have enough money to break that is just ridiculous. Customer service has gone down hill so badly that I don't see how business owners aren't taking a hit. I won't be coming back here. I will go to a different company for my morning coffee. This company will loose customers because of the bad customer service but also how they turn customers away because they are to lazy to go back to the safe so they'd much rather turn...
Read moreI stopped going to this location A LONG time ago. I don't know if they even have "Starbucks" employees anymore. A few times I've seen the woman who works the meat department making drinks. I've seen many Safeway employees from different departments working the kiosk. Its better off if you want something more than just Coffee to go to the location on 31st and Colorado Ave. The parking at this Safeway is horrendous anyway and is filled with people who don't know how to drive or have adequate driving skills. I've seen drug usage here too from the...
