Wendy's — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Tonight was THE MOST disappointing experience I have ever had at a Wendy's. It is probably my favorite fast food place, and aside from people being a little snippy now and again and the usual (I worked fast food for years and understand), I have never had a bad experience in this city. It is Christmas Eve and they were slammed so I will give them that, but that is absolutely no excuse to treat your customers poor. I ordered a Southwest Avacodo salad and some other items. Well turns out I forgot an item so I hurried back down, had no idea they were going to close at 8 because there was no notice of what time they were to close, and sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes (from 7:35PM) and when I got up to the speaker they just had it shut down and left the drive thru wrapped without giving any notice to anybody they were closed. THEN when I got back home to finally eat my original order, already irritated, I found my AVACODO CHICKEN salad had no AVACADO or CHICKEN and was basically a big container of lettuce. When I called I was told the food was made to order and they had run out. When I asked why they had no sign up or gave no notice to the customers I was told "well we probably should have but we didn't." I'll go back down to S Academy and Chelton. Wanted to stop quick for a small drink. Mcdonalds has $1.00 beverages, but it was on the other side of the highway. Wendys was on my side and the last one i stopped at had diet Dr. Pepper....my fave. I asked at the drive thru if this store had diet Dr. pepper. They told me" not thru the drive thru, only if you come in?" What does that mean???? You either have it on your menu to sell to any customer or you don't PERIOD! WHATEVER, I ordered a small diet coke and was told they would give me my total at the second window? Why do i have to wait for a total? Ring it up and tell me what to get ready for you. I pull up and am told it would be $1.97 or something close to that. For a small I asked? How much is the large? $2.24 was the answer? Rediculous!! I know you make your biggest profit on beverages but you just lost another customer to competition that wants their customers to come to them no matter how much$$ they spend. You got my $ this time but I'll never stop here again for a beverage and will think long and hard before i spend my $$ here for food. Don't screw the people who want to patronize you. Not everyone drinks a 2 liter of soda at one time. Drop your small beverage price to reflect the amount you are receiving .....and...

This location refused to remake my order after UberEats called them to make a new order. This is after someone there promised that they would make a new order as long as UberEats called them. Now, they've gone back on this promise. I was a long time customer and I will no longer order from this location. It is not acceptable that they were willing to serve me cold hamburger, chicken sandwich, fries, and a melted frosty. I am not even sure that is safe and there are food safety standards that would have been broken, seeing as this order was made before 1 p.m. and the new driver would have picked it up at 2:10 p.m. Some investigation needs to be done by management because this is ridiculous. Update clarification: This order was placed at 12:24 and finally picked up at 2:10, at which point I cancelled the order due to refusal to make a fresh order by 2 different people despite UberEat's efforts. I wonder how much this location throws away at the end of the day? Could it really have killed them to remake a sandwich to keep a customer happy? Anyone can tell you that a cold hamburger is inedible, especially...
