This was our first visit after the former restaurant in this location was sold. We always loved this place and found it to have the most interesting menu in Columbia. The food this time didn't disappoint, but we really missed all the cork on the walls, which helped make this among the more quiet restaurants as well. If you are hearing impaired, the sounds now really bounce off the walls, especially if you have some especially loud individuals as diners. It would be great for the owners to add a few more sound-deadening wall hangings, etc. to the space. The paint and light decor is, however, welcome given it's in a lower level without many windows. Also, I appreciated that they still have at least one vegetarian/vegan entree on the menu and several veggie salads to choose from. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked and dessert was small but unique -- just enough for the two of us to have a taste. The service was not rushed at all (compared, say, to CCs) and the redesign opened up the space to more tables and more room between tables. A wonderful gourmet outing. We look forward...

It was my wife and I’s first time back here in a few years and it did not disappoint. The service and food was incredible.

Food - We ordered a salad, frog legs, a pasta dish and dessert! Every aspect was perfect and we wouldn’t change anything with our food order. Our waitress even brought out a towelette to clean our hands after the appetizer.

Drinks - the wine was our favorite part. We also tried the Spanish gin & tonic (delicious, but a little sweet for my taste) and we split an Irish coffee with our dessert that complimented it perfectly.

Recommendation - if you’re planning to come here, look at the menu online before you go. It looks to be updated almost everyday since it changes quite a bit. It was helpful for me to look up the meaning of some incredibly detailed and unique foods that I’ve never...

This is my new favorite restaurant in Columbia! We dined there for the first time this evening with high hopes, and they did not disappoint. The cocktail list is incredible and set a high bar, but the drinks were beyond incredible. We have dined all over the world and have been to hundreds of cocktail bars and this stands out as one of our favorites! We learned that Jordan, the bar manager, is the man behind the curtain on these recipes, and he is extremely talented at what he does. If you are familiar with Bar 1661 in Dublin, you can expect the same creativity and out of the box thinking here in Columbia, MO. The food was at the same caliber - we tried the carrots (amazing), halibut, house salad, pomme frites and wish we had room for more! I can’t wait to return once we’re back...

It was our first time visiting the restaurant. The food was phenomenal! However, I do think there are a few areas that may need to be improved. Cocktail drinks - I am not a drink expert, but the mixed drinks we ordered the other day weren't flattering at all. Since we are not regular customers and can't speak for their mixed drinks in general, we just wouldn't recommend for the mixed drink from our own experiences. Butter - it is a French cuisine...so if you ever ask for butter, it'll come with salt on top of the butter. Just to be aware. In general, this is a great experience! The service was great too!

Went here for graduation weekend and although they were busy, they didn't keep us waiting for too long. If you are wanting to go to dinner for a special event, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. We made ours Feb 2nd to get a reservation for May 13 for graduation weekend. The food was amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. Had a very nice selection of beverages as well. Staff was respectful and not rushing at all (we stayed for about 2 hours). Bathrooms are single use but very clean and modern.
