Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Columbia Township

My husband had just gotten out of surgery & wanted Chili’s. I stood at the door waiting to be seated for about 10 mins. My husband went to the bathroom & came back & I was still standing there. This was between lunch & dinner so there were only 3 tables with people at them. There was 2 workers standing by the bar talking, 1 waitress on the other side (that I seen), & a worker in his car. The one by the bar finally sat us & brought us drinks & menus but we didn’t see our waitress until about 5 minutes after my drink was empty. She took our order & I asked for a refill as well. She didn’t come back until our entrees were delivered & still no refill & no appetizer. Once the app did come, it appeared to be something from a fast food place, thought it was going to be like a blooming onion but instead looked like onion ring fries in a little fry container. Once she finally refilled my coffee, it was cold & had stuff floating in it, like it was a day old. The first one that sat us had told us they’d have to make a fresh pot & the cup she brought me was hot so I’m guessing the second cup must have come from a pot that hadn’t been emptied & the waitress probably didn’t know it was old. That being said, it was obvious that the waitress didn’t care & was not trying to be friendly. Once we were ready to leave, she was sitting at a table in the back, don’t know if she was on break or just chillin but we wanted to pay so we could leave but no one seemed to care. I went outside to smoke while waiting for my husband to pay. Once I finished I went back inside because I was going to start looking for workers so we didn’t leave without paying which at this point, I almost did because this was all so ridiculous! My husband said he finally found the guy that was at the bar earlier (we both got the impression he might have been the manager or something) & asked if anyone was going to take our money & finally our waitress told him you just pay at the machine at the table. We thought it was just for games cause that’s all we seen on there, not a receipt. This was only my 2nd time eating at Chili’s. I told my husband I didn’t have a good experience the first time I went but it had been about 10-15 years so I’d give them another chance. This was worse than the first time! Never again! Yesterday I ordered a pickup order when I got it I only had half of what I ordered I ordered a full rack of ribs with the fries in the slaw I got to half rack which I wanted a full rack and a half rack with potatoes and corn-on-the-cob I got home and nothing was in the bag but one rack of ribs to half racks I called over there and they said I had to wait and talk to the general manager I was really upset because I went drove all the way over there from Providence and Smiley Lane only to be told to come back over and pick up my food I did at 5 this is it to the place was packed understand the business was good but the lady said she took my number and had the general manager call me back which nobody ever did but I still had to go back at 5 and pick up the food so we could eat mind you I place my order at 2:15 with Natalie I have my receipt I've ordered there quite a few times and most the time I get what I want just be advised check your bag before you go because they don't always give you everything you're supposed to get our that you water they charge me for everything thank you just let the buyer beware because no one will call you back and no one will do nothing like I said from 2:15 to 5 we had to wait to get the rest of our food thank you have a good day. I received a phone number to call in every time I call it no one's there to answer it so that goes to show you what Chili's is about maybe if I tried to call it again and again and again I called three times three attempts at three different times and they said their staff wasn't available pretty sorry anyway how about this I'll leave my number with the store if they want to talk to me they can talk to me if not that's okay also I want to bring to the attention that I had a gift card that I received from American Express using my rewards points could have went anywhere else but I chose Chili's so when I went online and tried to order and use my gift card it wouldn't let me I had to use a credit card that's pretty sad why do I be gift card the other part of it is I'm legally blind and I have a caretaker and he went and got my food that's why it took so long in between replacement because he has to work another job and I'm not just only client so he went by there on his way home pick it up for me so...

Spent 87 dollars here on 4 people. Chili's has really gone down hill. I am sure they have jumped on the bang wagon of continuously blaming COVID, shut down, inflation, and the lack of staffing. These are all just easy way out excuses for business owners and managers to perform at low levels. One of the people in our party had to wait 20 minutes for their food to arrive to the table after the other three were served. She ordered chicken strips and fries. How does that take additional time??? Two people in our party had shrimp and pasta and you want to tell me the chicken strips and fries took longer than shrimp and pasta? Our waiter started off great and then was not around much after. He came by twice to inquire about refills and not one of us were rude regarding the late arrival of the chicken strips! I did not believe this was his fault so no reason to take it out on him. The place had maybe 8 tables with people at them and other staff members standing around talking to each other so "busy" or "short staff" does not apply here. My party was enjoying the game tablet on the table not bothering anyone yet continuously was told how to pay the bill so that we could exit! There was no one in line for a table and we were enjoying ourselves after being apart for some time. Had there been a wait by other customers we would have left and allowed them to experience their regrets of choosing to eat at this establishment! I used to frequently visit this location in 2014 while my son was at the Children's Hospital between this Chili's and Olive Garden it is all he wanted so obviously I made it happen.
