This location is especially bad. If you missed the video that circulated Facebook exposing employees for being completely absent and leaving the lights on / doors unlocked during business hours, then please by all means, pull into the drive-thru and read the shotty hand written sign on the speaker that says "SAY HELLO SO THAT WE KNOW YOUR HERE".
After you pull around you'll watch them inside making your food, but don't expect a hello until you've waited the full fifteen minute minimum that is required for three cups of melted milk, aggressively shaken to the consistency of water, lacking your extra toppings, cold fries and their famous -supposed to be in a cup but spread on the bottom of your paper sack- cheese sauce.
You see that three cars now only one minute into their own fifteen minute minimum wait, have pulled in after you so there is no hope in going back through the drive-thru lane. You decide to take your items inside to see if they can be replaced.
CHAPTER TWO: THE REMAKE
You've entered the restaurant. The lights are dim and there is a lonely couple in the corner enjoying their own melted milky water. A glimmer of hope sends tingles up your spine. You walk to the counter and just as soon as you were convinced things could turn out OK, you're "greeted" with a bleak "Welcome to Steak n Shake" and then dismissed just as quickly after the cashier gives you about ten percent of her effort and attention.
You pick a barstool and have a seat. You look over and realize, you may be about to make an aquaintence. Next to you at the bar is a napkin. On that napkin... A friendly blob of Ketchup. You sit quietly next to Ketchup as you wait for your food. You stare awkwardly at each other for another twenty minutes before the obviously unenthused manager bring you your new milky water with extra stale Oreo pieces. You leave.
Wherever you are Ketchup... I'll...
Read moreThis store usually has very good food and pretty good waitresses, today was an exception, there was just a few customers in the store when we put our order in, after a very long wait our waitress went to see why our order wasn't ready, she returned a few minutes later and told us our orders would be out I. A few minutes, when our order was brought out our food was not even warm, while we were waiting for our order we could hear the kitchen staff playing around and talking very loud ,instead of getting our orders out they had been playing around in the back, the burger was cold as were the fries and the spaghetti and chile. Instead of making a big deal we told the waitress our complaint, got our check and left a small gratuity , paid our bill and left the store and will probably not return to this location again, the people in the kitchen were obviously playing around being very loud and obnoxious instead of doing their job, this was around 3pm on Oct 2, our waitress did a pretty good job of Serving but the kitchen staff sucked, it's called a job and if you want to play around do it on your own time, I would predict that if this keeps up this store will not be in business very...
Read moreMy fiance and I go here a lot, and both of us are polite, saying thank you, please etc, And most of the employees here are completely rude and disrespectful. October 26th at 12:40 a.m. this is just the latest in a series of rude behavior we have experienced from multiple employees. At the drive-thru there was a older lady with orange hair She was very disrespectful and rude she was rolling her eyes and gave a disgusting attitude. She ignored us when we tried to order, even after we said hello a few times and was very argumentative when we pulled up to the window. She wouldn't let us finish ordering before giving us our total and was very short with us whenever we asked for anything. When we received our shakes they both looked the same and she didn't tell us which was which, so we had to try and figure it out. We are very displeased with their customer service. Their food is good but they are severely lacking in...
