It pains me to write this because I loved Uncle Festers when Jeff was a bartender and Linda did karaoke. Harry is doing a great job as a karaoke DJ as well. Unfortunately, maybe it was just a bad night and the bartenders were overwhelmed, but there were many wrong calculations on drink charges tonight. People either got overcharged or undercharged (the latter of which is awesome, but it means they charged other people for their drinks and swiped the wrong cards). I felt for one of the women bartenders because a dude who apparently has a bad reputation gave her a hard time when he was overcharged, but then I was overcharged along with other people due to them not paying attention. I also knew that I gave my card to leave my drinks on tab, but the woman bartender did not do her best in finding my card and even told me they didn't have it when I knew they did. The other bartender immediately found my card after the first failed to find it twice; she didn't even try to look through the collection of cards to find it on the second try despite the fact that I knew they had it. I'm thankful the other bartender found it, but due to this easily avoidable issue, I can never go there again. I even paid for the overcharge despite knowing that I only had two drinks and I tipped over 50 percent... but it was a farewell tip to a bar that I used to love. My suggestions to the bartenders at this point is to pay attention to who orders what, make sure you charge the right cards, handle your business with logic and facts instead of running to conclusions due to emotions, and treat all of your patrons with respect. I love service workers, I've been there, and I hate to see a business go downhill due to overemotional egos and a lack of common sense.2 vodka soda drinks cost 10 at the most... not 22 dollars. I happily tipped 10 bucks knowing that I will never come back due to this unfortunate handling...
Read moreThe "bouncer" and lady at the ID scanner were insanely rude. I walked in because a group of my friends were in there and was greeted by the bouncer yelling "nope absolutely not" from across the bar and storming over to me. Apparently it was because the place was at capacity, which mind you I understand and respect. But when you yell at me like I'm some drunk idiot and act rude it does not make me ever want to come back, and frankly I will not. They also had no signs or anyone posted up to let you know before wasting your time walking in that they were at capacity. The lady checking IDs was also very smug and rude and acted like me being denied entry was funny and that she was better than me because she could decide whether or not I got it. I should also say I was completely sober when I walked into this bar and it was only the second time I had been there. Well now it's the last time as well. First time I went the servers also had no idea what kind of beer they had available as I couldn't purchase liquor for my first visit. Would absolutely not recommend this...
Read moreNot Friendly Bouncer Old Lady at all! I didn’t know much about this place until a friend of mine introduced it to me. I’ve been here twice, and the last time was last night. When we arrived, the lady at the door—who checks IDs and monitors who comes in—stopped us. At first, I wasn’t sure what she was saying to my friend because I was talking to someone through my earpods.
To our surprise, she got in our faces, accusing us of taking videos of random people around the place. Like, seriously? We were recording ourselves singing karaoke, not lurking or creeping around filming people. She made it seem like we were up to something sketchy just because we’re gay, which was so uncalled for.
I get that not everyone is comfortable with being recorded, but everyone there seemed to be vibing with us, and we thought it was harmless fun. If she had an issue, she could’ve approached us more respectfully. We’re decent people, and we came to this place because we thought it was welcoming and friendly.
Unfortunately, that experience ruined it for us. You just...
