I placed a an order through the chipotle app for a burrito, burrito bowl and a cheese Quasadilla around 9:25. The app said my order would be ready at 9:40. I Arrived at the drive up window at 9:45.
Through the window I could see an employee cleaning the cooking area. She saw me pull up but did not come over. I’m sitting there and sitting there getting zero customer service and becoming frustrated when about 10 minutes later I see 2 more employees appear, chat with each other, put chips into bags, and then go away. All 3 of these employees have seen me sitting there at this point.
Finally, 15 minutes after sitting at the window the lady that was cleaning opened the window. I asked her “why are the employees were just ignoring cars at the window. I’ve been here for 15 minutes now”
She said she was just cleaning it was the other employees making the food out front that are supposed to be getting the window. I said “well they’re ignoring the window too!”
She told me she will check out front to see if my order was ready. After A few minutes a different employee returns to the window and says “I have a question. We are out of cheese, do you still want your order or do you just want a refund?” Now mind you, one of the things I ordered is cheese Quasadilla, tell me how you’re gonna make that without cheese?! Not to mention it is 10 pm at this point and my order was supposed to be ready at 9:40.
At this point I say I just want a refund. She tells me I have to do it online. I ask how to do it online and she says she doesn’t know. I say, “so you’re out of a product, I can’t get my order or the cheese quesadilla on the order, but you can’t give me a refund?”
She says no, I have to go online. I was not satisfied so she left to get the manager. I wait another 10 minutes before the manager comes over, tells me she also cannot explain to me how to request a refund online because employees aren’t allowed on the app. I said so you can’t explain to me how to do it? She says no. I said but you guys are out of cheese, so I can’t get my food, so why can’t I get a refund? I asked her what good are you as a manager if you can’t even explain the process of how to request a refund. I also told her “you are all bad at your jobs”
I drove away with no food after waiting at the window for 30 minutes. There were 3 other cars waiting behind me too.
Once I got home and After a lot of back and forth with the chat bot finally connecting me to a live person I was able to get a refund. I have deleted the app and I will never give a chipotle my hard earned money again.

Read moreI have been to this location too many times to remember, so I am very acquainted to the service which up to this time has been excellent.
Today, April 6 around 1pm I had the worst experience at this Morse Rd. And North Hamilton location in Gahanna.
The manager ran the worst crew I have ever seen. And no wonder, the manager herself was by far the most uneducated and lacked basic principles of customer service.
The guy serving at the beginning of the line had this attitude of hating his job, and a lazy behavior that held the line 5 or 6 times longer than what is expected at any chipotle line. In addition, his didn't listen or pay attention. He kept on adding the wrong ingredients even after repeating myself several times. To make things worse, his teammate at the line left him alone after getting frustrated with his attitude. She had to keep correcting the orders and it was clear that she got tired of it. Yet the manager didn't do anything about it. It was difficult to had waited so long to finally get to the line and see the serving portions was less than half, like it was a toddler's serving. When I challenge I got attitude back from the manager. I asked that if I was going to get rations like portions, I should be charged accordingly and not the full price. The register lady agreed but the manager ordered to charge the regular price.
I would had walked away but I had home a sick kid who I promised I would get him chipotle for lunch because it is his favorite meal. He has been a trooper the past few days dealing with his sickness and today he was finally feeling better.
Too bad that I promised to bring him chipotle for lunch, otherwise I...
Read moreI should love this chipotle, because my food is always free.
But I don't.
Problem after problem does tend to wear on you.
Out of something.
Bad service.
Bad attitude.
Bad quality.
Unsafe.
It just keeps coming.
Time and time again management apologizes, refunds our money and gives us free meal cards. Then the next time you pay with the free cards. At home you eat around the hard burnt chicken until you toss what's left.
Let's address the safety issue. For MONTHS I have told management that there is no parking lot or exterior building lights at all. I've seen the slip and fall on the curb. I was told to complain to corporate because corporate won't listen to them. I have corresponded to corporate. My only reply was on Twitter. Maybe they'll see this. @ChipotleTweets . The other night was worse. Same old "Sorry we're too busy to make dressing. Here's a refund and Sorry cards". But the setting is even worse. Now add in snowy slippery dark conditions. Why do we never eat there? Show me a clean table. People quit bussing your own tables. They don't see trash, then they don't wipe the table.
To address the bad service. Please don't give me the big sigh and eye roll when you get it wrong. If I say "half scoop", just give a half. Not a heaping with a half inch shaken off. I know it's not your end all, be all career, but I hope you come to realize that others will choose where to spend their earned income.
Why did I even give 2 stars? Because I feel the manager has heart, and is doing the best he can with what he...
