I'm a frequent shopper at this Kroger location and found that they have optimal accessibility parking as there are a vast number of spaces located directly in front of the store. There are approximately 20 of these parking spaces (4 rows, 5 spaces in each – all of which are van accessible). The smooth pavement in front of the store and the wide, automatic open doors at the entrance make the store easily accessible for all as no barriers are put in place to enter the establishment. The motorized carts are located to the right of the entrance when you enter. The 4 available were plugged in, in their designated spot to be used by patrons.
This grocery store, like many, offers self-checkout as well as the traditional checkout option with a cashier. If customers prefer, they’re also able to place online orders and pick them up curbside or have their groceries delivered to their home on the same day. The self checkout counters are an appropriate height and volume can be adjusted on the screen to raise or lower voice prompting to scan your rewards card, choose payment method and ask for assistance. Kroger employees are also available to help customers to their vehicles to unpack and load groceries, which I see often when shopping here!
Though this location has many accessible features for its customers and employees, those that may utilize mobility devices to get around, may have trouble finding one as they're somewhat limited. Going down aisles during the day could likely interrupt shopping as there is a lot of restocking going on in addition to a number of displays set up that might make it difficult to...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews for grocery stores. But I had such a great experience at this location yesterday evening. I was looking for a smaller piece of pork shoulder because on the meat display they only had huge slabs. The man working the meat department went to the back and took the time to find me the smallest pork shoulder slab. He weighed each available one in the back to find the smallest one for me. It was awesome. I really appreciate him taking the time to find me the smallest one. Then when I went to check out my friend and I were sharing a cart. The two gentlemen working register 9 were very patient with us as we divided up our order on the conveyor belt. Then the bagger took the time to tie my bags in a knot so I would be able to tell my groceries apart from my friend’s groceries. I can’t get over how helpful everyone was at this location. It was awesome. The overall customer service I received at this store was amazing. If I’m ever on this side of town again and I need groceries, I’ll definitely stop at this...
Read moreI went to this Kroger for the first time yesterday, and one of the items on my shopping list was McIntosh Apples. I found a bin that was clearly labeled McIntosh with a price of $1.79/lb, so I filled a bag with six nice large apples. When I got them home my partner took one look at them and said, "Those are not McIntosh!" She then showed me a little tag on one of the apples with print too small for me to read without a magnifying glass, but when I did look through the glass I could see that they were all labeled Fuji. I am very upset....Kroger putting Fuji apples in a bin clearly labeled McIntosh is false advertising. I'd take them back and ask for my money back but it is too far to walk (I took an Uber to the store and back home with my shopping), so it would cost me more for another trip than I would get if I received a refund. I usually like Kroger stores, but will never shop at this...
