Purchasing used items from an online store is not an easy process, as you cannot hold the items in your hand, and assess the quality. Even more harder when it comes down to purchasing musical instruments. However I just has a great experience, very much educating and out of the ordinary service level. I was looking for an Oboe and a Trumpet. Found the chain of stores on line, and reached out to a few stores in this chain. By far, this locations offered best prices on the items I was looking for. Most importantly, spoke with Trevor, store manager and presented a long, long list of questions. Contemplated back and forth between options, and received his very candid opinion. There were no attempts to push me towards the more expensive instruments, just a lot of explanations and felt a true partnership in the process of making a decision that is right as far as budget and as far as the quality of the item. Trevor never lost his patience, and was very kind in helping me complete the order.

ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought a Yamaha transacoustic guitar, which has built-in effects both amplified and unamplified. It's an amazing technology that adds reverb or chorus by vibrating the top of the guitar with transducers underneath the bridge.
The effects didn't work unamplified even after putting fresh batteries in, so I asked to return the guitar.
Music Go Round refunded my money minus the shipping costs, so I called to ask them why. They told me they put fresh batteries in and it worked. I wish they would have called to find out why it didn't work for me before they decided they weren't going to send the full refund.

Read moreI brought in an audio interface to this location asking for a repair on the charging port. The person who attended me said they have someone who could repair the device for a bench fee. I asked how long this takes, and I was advised 1-2 weeks. After two weeks, I called in and was advised to reach out to the person working on it named John. John advised he couldn't find the piece but would continue to look. I asked him to keep me updated, and he did not respond. After two weeks, i tired calling him and he did not respond. I had to go in the store to go in the store, in which they called the owner for further assistance. The owner then said I will have my device ready by Wednesday.
