The first associate was kind. But weird. I told her I wanted a pound of crab. She said, do you want to pay before or after? I said I can pay before but it’s going to be hard to tip you if I don’t know the service I’m receiving. I still tipped $10 For $32 of crabs. Then Once I paid, I asked, where is the restroom at so I can wash my hands to eat. She looked at me confused like you’re eating here? I’m thinking Shouldn’t you have asked me that before I ordered? I said yes? And explained that’s why I was confused about what I was going to tip because I don’t like tipping people unless I know what my service is going to be.
I tried sitting Alone On the other side of the room and a male I’m assuming is a manager said I can sit in the front row. Now there was already a couple on the other side sitting by themselves comfortably. I’m like, I don’t like sitting next to people.( I have anxiety and PTSD.) He said I’ll sit you were there aren’t any people. He sat me in the row that has the bathroom. And the same row I’m facing everyone who walks into the building asking for their orders. Any future customers were automatically sat down.
I feel ignored. When I tried asking for help after I ate to order more food, the girl who took orders at the front ignored me. And then there was another female Serving food, she passed me the first time. So then the next time I saw her I had to increase the volume in my voice, so I could be heard by Everyone in the room. Then she went to get the Associate who is at the front to place an additional order. She was kind, but I felt like it was forced.
After I finish eating, I spoke to the girl who is the associate at the front, and I said have a good evening. She just stared at me like she couldn’t hear me. I feel like if people are disabled working they need to inform people if they have hearing problems or learning disabilities if it’s not obvious. Because it’s hard to determine how to respond to people if you don’t know whether or not they are disabled or they’re being disrespectful.
I’m going to take it as although the first associate appeared to make mistake initially then transition to ignoring me as I left, as she’s just disrespectful. If she’s disabled and has a hearing problem, or a learning disability, where she’s not able to pay attention, I hope that possibly they worn customers so we know how to interact. Although I didn’t see her treating anyone else like she treated me so I’m not sure.
The food was great though! Although I didn’t feel wanted or welcomed as I ate. Very uncomfortable feeling. I...
Read moreI placed an order last night at 9:32 and went to pick up it up shortly before they closed; tired and hungry from work. I ordered Bay Scallops, Snow crab, and blue crab. The “Scallops” they are serving are imitation Surimi Scallops which were rubbery, unseasoned, and CLEARLY imitation. Real Scallops are white and flaky when cooked; these were rubber balls. The quality of the crab was extremely poor and stringy which indicates it was frozen for a while and low quality before being cooked. My receipt said 80$ but I was charged 96$ on my card and when I asked for a Manager I was told he was the manager and he made exscuse that it was the “bank”. I work down the road in a restaurant and only ordered there because I’d been craving seafood so I’m FULLY aware that he was lying. He tried to add a 15$ tip onto my card assuming that I would not notice because most people don’t! Dishonorable business practices and low quality seafood. They keep saying that “seafood is expensive” but have the nerve to serve us LOW QUALITY, and some unauthentic seafood! I will take the extra 15 minute drive and stick to Cajun crab boil; where 70$ would have gotten us a heap of FRESH seafood but they would have been closed by the time I’d...
Read moreAVOID AVOID AVOID. I previously ate here and the food was fine. I decided to order uber eats last night and got a Po-boy and Fried Shrimp. I ate the shrimp first. It was fine, too soggy to be called “fried”. My issue came when I ate the whiting po-boy. I bit into the sandwich and immediately knew something was off. First thing I noticed was the batter tasted like it was fried in old grease. The fries tasted the same and were inedible. I then took a 2nd bite of my po-boy and pulled out the brownish most slimey piece of lettuce that was well past expiration . You know when lettuce is well past expiration it becomes slimey and starts to brown. This was well past starting to brown and was clearly expired, yet they put that on a customers sandwich thinking they could pass it by. I instantly started throwing up and experiencing stomach pains. I’ll be contacting the board of health today. If they felt that comfortable giving me old brown expired lettuce who knows what else they’re doing to cut corners. I apologize I did not get a picture of the sandwich. I was so disgusted I just threw it all away. What a...
