I was with my boyfriend and was waiting 30 minutes when told carry out would be 20 minutes. When I asked about my order I was confronted with hostility, The male who originally identified himself as the manager but then said his name was Sean stated that others had been waiting longer. I stated that I had seen many deliveries go out and he argued that I was not skipped. I stated that I had been waiting for over thirty minutes when they stated it would be twenty minutes. He stated that others had been waiting longer and pointed to two male customers. I asked then how long they had been waiting and they stated 40 minutes, Sean asked if i wanted my money back and i said yes. He threw two five dollars at me. The money fell to the floor and we told him to hand us the money. He then stated that he would knock my teeth down my throat. I told him to go ahead. A female then stated that she was going to call the cops if i didnt leave. I told her if they would hand me my money off the floor i would leave. The store called the cops and I spoke with them outside and they asked if I would leave if I got my money. I told them that the store was in the wrong even if it was Friday and home game weekend. One cop went inside and got the ten dollars and gave it to me so I would leave. I am a twenty year veteran with the Sheriff Office and knows what is right and wrong. Read moreI ordered pizza tonight to be delivered at my library at Ohio State. I left my cell phone number so I could meet the driver outside. When my pizza tracker said the pizza was out for delivery I went and stood outside. After waiting for 30 minutes, and not seeing one domino's car pass I decided to go check the delivery status again. It said that the pizza was delivered even though I never received a phone call. I called the local store of origin, and when I gave them my phone number they instantly recognized that my pizza came back to the store because they stated that my phone number was disconnected. The only problem with that is I was calling from the phone number I gave. There was no way my phone was disconnected, and I was receiving texts so I was not out of service. Also the store did not try calling me to tell me the pizza was returned. I don't know if it is not company policy to not call once a pizza get returned, but I would have liked to have known, that is if they could get my number typed in their phone correctly. The guy who I talked to on the phone was also not trying to help fix anything. I wasn't looking for a free pizza, just that my ordered was fixed quickly. When I was told that they would just put my order in again, I was not ready to wait another 40 minutes to get my pizza. This was very poor service all around and it is going to take me a long time before I want to order...
Read moreOverall, this experience with Domino's was mediocre. Sadly, unsurprising, but always disappointing. My pizza did come with the correct toppings (albeit much less meat than any other pizza i have recently ordered). A big issue was they forgot to include the bleu cheese sauce in the pizza box. It is little issues like this that are a constant source of resentment and distrust for major chains like Domino's. I understand that a company like this really does resent having to pay employees - or even have to employee anyone. But do yourself a favor and put more value into your workforce (i.e. pay them $2 or more an hour than the current wage in order to ensure an acutally accountable workforce that may care about the details. Additionally, why not try running a promotion where you sell better quality pizzas and toppings for a bit more than a deal like 50% off the normal fare. Give people a reason to try a "Good Pizza" from Domino's. Stop this ceaseless race to the bottom of quality whilst maximizing corporate profits. Perhaps offer an actual value for a bit more in cost to the consumer. Reap the longer term rewards of customer trust and loyalty rather than employing a basic money grab offering sub-par pizza and poor...
