Halwani's Pizza & Stromboli - Grandview Location — Restaurant in Columbus

This pizza place was AWESOME! If you are looking for good, traditional pizza, this is your place. If you are an adventurous eater, looking to explore exotic pizzas, this is your place! The delectable crust had a hint of a soft pretzel, and was the perfect compromise between a thick crust and thin crust. The owners, as well as the rest of the workers, were very cordial and pleasant.

My friend and I tried a variety of different pizzas. The African Pizza was a delicious combination of sweet and savory, and had my taste buds dancing with delight. The non traditional sweet BBQ sauce, combined with grilled steak and onion, was a unique combination of deliciousness!

The Tandoori Chicken pizza was spicy enough to wake up my taste buds, but not so overwhelming that they were numbed by the perfect blends of seasonings. If you like spicy and exotic, this is a must try for sure.

The Chicken & Bacon Ranch Pizza had a traditional sauce topped with perfectly grilled piece of chicken. The combination of flavors paired flawlessly with their unique crust, and is the perfect pizza for the average Joes.

If you are ever near Columbus, Ohio area, this is a must stop place to dine! This clean, quaint, casual dinning experience will have you longing for more. I will certainly be visiting this establishment any time I am in the area. I am looking forward to my next pizza adventure there!

Such a great pizza place!!!

They have a wide selection of custom pizzas and pizza toppings, and they are halal! Upon walking in we were greeted by the cashier and the owner. The wait time wasn’t long at all, and pizzas were hot and fresh. We had the tandoori chicken(tikka) pizza and a beef-pepperoni pizza. Both were amazing, specially the tandoori chicken bursting with flavor and a kick of heat! The toppings on this pizza might seem heavy at first glance, but they combine beautifully with the cheese and sauce creating a nice balance and unique flavor. The beef pepperoni was also great, seasoned like a regular pepperoni sausage making it actually better and a little less greasy than your regular non-beef pepperoni! The restaurant is located in a nice strip of restaurants and bars, making it perfect for a quick stop while hanging out in the area. What really makes this place unique is the quality of the pizza and the friendly atmosphere. The owner is one of the nicest person I’ve ever met, and shows that he truly cares about...

We stopped in late at night for the first time and decided to have a bite to eat in-house before taking the rest home. As other reviews mention, the restaurant itself isn't much to look at: tiny, basic seating. But hey, it's a primarily take-out pizza place! You shouldn't expect too much for the atmosphere. Service was very friendly.

After a VERY good garlic cheese bread appetizer, I was looking forward to The Classic small pizza - pepperoni, mushroom, sausage. It was the blandest pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Shockingly bland. I am pretty sure they don't salt their mushrooms, and they use BIG mushrooms. Actually, I'm not sure anything in my dish touched salt. It was that bad.

On the flip side, my husband got a Tandoori Chicken pizza and said it was incredibly flavorful! I'm usually the one who is very tolerant of blander food, whereas my husband has a high bar for flavor. So the Tandoori must have been really excellent. What in the world happened with...
