I stopped here for a bite to eat with a co-worker for lunch. We were quickly greeted and seated by a very friendly hostess/server. I liked the design aesthetic (elevated pub-esque) of the place and the brightness, thanks to the large windows. I ordered an Iced Tea and the Front Street Chicken Grill sandwich (grilled chicken breast, topped with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, sliced smoked bacon, and honey mustard dressing). It sounded great - but, that was about it. The food came out suspiciously quick. While I was excited about that, I was a underwhelmed when I took a bite and the chicken was cold in the middle. The chicken had that kind of mushed rubbery processed texture (think nuggets without the fried breading to mask it). But, the saving grace of my meal was absolutely the fries. Maybe was an off day, but I cannot recommend this dish.

I had the chance to experience eating here with a few others for dinner while visiting Columbus. We sat out in the patio area that was a decent size and nice to sit out there but nothing special and not much of a view of anything but peaceful until someone with a motorcycle came roaring past. I had the Front Street burger that was good and would have it again if I am ever back here. A few others had Mexican food here and said it was nothing more than ok and it could have been better and that they probably wouldn’t have it again if they were here. The service was good and quick here. At the time we were here it wasn’t too busy. The inside here had TVs with sports on them to watch a game. Over all it was ok to good but wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back again if I were back in Columbus.

The thing I don't understand about this place is the sauce served with the mozzarella sticks. They take the time to hand make these delicious mozzarella sticks, but it is served with basically tomato sauce. Why wouldn't you use a crushed tomato base for the sauce so that it sticks to the craggy bits??? The sauce is thin and watery. The tables have that finish on them that makes everything it touches stick to it. Spilt beer over my hands a couple times trying to unstick the glass from the table. The bright spot was the chicken sandwich. It was glistening when I cut into it. I thought it tasted great. It gets warm in there. It can get uncomfortable after a while.

Great place but the restaurant staff never fails to freely choose when to close the kitchen. Yesterday, it was either the 2nd/ or 3rd time I went into Moran’s and the kitchen was closed hours before closing. My visit yesterday definitely prompted this review! I visited Moran’s (party of 2) at 8:30pm on Friday 11/10/23 for dinner and drinks just to be told the kitchen is closed. At the time, it was several parties inside the restaurant eating dinner. I wonder if management/ownership is aware of the decisions being made to cut off business at such early hours based on loose predictions of it being too “slow” for the rest of the night to operate. If management/ownership is “concerned” why there are zero food sales at random times it’s because the staff is closing the kitchen! Not because patrons aren’t visiting the establishment seeking food. As a customer, it’s certainly frustrating to pay for parking and be turned away at 8:30pm for dinner on a Friday! Moran’s needs a set time for the kitchen to close like other bars/ restaurants in the areas for weekdays...

Tried this place the first time last night. We were greeted and sat quickly. Our issues started with the app, as the spinach artichoke dip was lacking in flavor. The special for the night was Fried Chicken meal that came with mashed potatoes and green beans. I don’t like green beans, but I couldn’t sub them because that’s not allowed according to our waitress, so I gave them to my friend and had to pay for a side I did want. I had also asked the waitress prior to ordering what type of chicken pieces I would be getting in the fried chicken dinner, and she told me that it was a big piece like a chicken breast. Welp, that was not true!! She came back with 2 small wings, not like a buffalo chicken wing, we’re talking a small wing with barely any meat on it! Very disappointing meal that I...
