Came in on a Saturday early evening and first thing I noticed was their dirty window! There was no customers inside and there were 3 employees just sitting there on their phones. I placed my order and then a few other I walked in. The cook started to make my order while still on the phone talking. I swear his phone was going to fall in the fryer. I order one potato corn dog and it took close to 10mins for it be done. The cook waits another min after the fryer beeps because he was eating, he didn't even wash his hands, took a clean glove put it on and took the corn dog out of the fryer. DISGUSTING! Does he not know everyone can see the back of the kitchen and everything that they do! While we and the other customers were waiting for the corn dogs, they just sat around. The 2 trash cans was full, the windows needed cleaning and the floor could use a mop. So many things to do yet they just sit in there phones. Then they called a number and I had already threw my receipt away so he's saying it wasn't mine. I explained to him that I was the first one to order, then the customer said that's her. I said ok. Then the other is mine since they are the exact same but I came in first so technically it should be mine number called first. Never again. I was so annoyed I didn't even want the corn dog. I've been wanting to try this since it's been a thing and my first time was so...
Read moreI personally do not like corn dogs at all but I decided to give it a try. First bite into the sweet potato (#10 on menu) was very delicious. The rest of the food I have pictured are from my friends orders who enjoyed theirs. Unfortunately, despite tasting good, I still just don't like corn dogs. Toppings were extremely fried hard! I would probably ask for less sweet/sugar powder because it was very sweet. I ate 3 bites then threw it away. I could definitely see people who love corn dogs loving this. More of an acquired cuisine taste. Im not sure of any other Korean Corndogs restaurants in Columbus so go check it out for yourself.
Random: New restaurant so expect high wait times. I waited over 30 minutes to recieve food. They may need to hire at least two more people per the shift to flow well if they continue with steady customers. Also safety concern for the staff; the floor was very slippery in their prep area and I could see staff sliding and slipping. They need mats or something before there's an injury that cost the business money.
There are no public restrooms. There is no seating. They sell...
Read moreI was very pleased with my experience this evening at Myungrang. First time to eat at the restaurant, and I brought a friend. I ordered the mozzarella, beef and cheddar, and mozzarella and beef dogs. I didn’t have a favorite, all 3 were excellent! The texture of the breading was light, flavorful and had a nice crunch without being overcooked. I also requested the cheddar mustard sauce and sweet chili sauce and both were great. The atmosphere was much more than just friendly and welcoming in a positive way. It was hopping! Customers were talkative, laughing, loud and appeared to have a great time. The restaurant layout was simple; a ledge on opposite sides of the waiting area for dine in (no chairs, standing room only which was fine), space to wait for the food to be cooked, and an open layout to see how the hotdogs were prepped and cooked. Biggest thing, it was very clean! I could tell the employees care for the restaurant. I would absolutely go back and next time I will bring more friends for the...
