My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rossi Kitchen and Bar in Columbus, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. This charming establishment quickly won us over with its inviting atmosphere and delicious food.
As a lover of pizza, I couldn't resist trying their offerings in this department. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The pizza at Rossi Kitchen and Bar is simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, and I found myself savoring every slice.
On the other hand, my wife is a pasta aficionado, and she was equally thrilled with her choice. The pasta dishes at Rossi Kitchen and Bar are a true testament to their culinary expertise. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and well-balanced. The flavors were authentic and comforting, making each bite a true delight for my wife.
The service at Rossi Kitchen and Bar was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had. We felt well taken care of throughout our meal, which added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The dim lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating created a warm and intimate atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a romantic dinner with my wife, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company.
In addition to the fantastic food and service, Rossi Kitchen and Bar also offers a great selection of drinks. Their cocktail menu is creative and well-crafted, with options to suit every taste. We indulged in a couple of their signature cocktails, and they were expertly mixed and absolutely delicious. Their bartenders are actual mixologist as well. They understand the chemistry of alcohol as well!
Overall, our experience at Rossi Kitchen and Bar was exceptional. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere all contributed to a memorable evening. Whether you're a pizza lover like me or a pasta enthusiast like my wife, this restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings. We highly recommend Rossi Kitchen and Bar to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience...
Read moreWe came here during happy hour and was I was excited to finally visit. Parking is the usual paid street parking.
The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is so classy, and I would describe the atmosphere as cool retro jazz. It was a Tuesday evening, very calm and quiet, except for the kitchen noises.
Their menu changed slightly, I think they had their pizzas for happy hour previously, but it wasn't this time. However, the OH pizza was delicious, crispy, sweet, spicy, fantastic. I would recommend this pizza, it's very good. We also got the meatballs, bruschetta, and truffle popcorn. I was not expecting the meatballs to be two massive balls, it was good and delicious, just a bit too salty. The popcorn was a bit soggy, but truffle flavor was good. The bruschetta also came on just two slices of bread and covered in tomato and balsamic vinaigrette goodness. The appetizers we got during happy hour ranges from $3-$4. We also got the mini Cosmo and Lemon Drop, and chardonnay to sip and those were good to pair with everything. I preferred the Lemon Drop a bit more, it gave a good sour and sweet balance.
Overall, with mini drinks, appetizers, and pizza, the cost was about $53 before tip. It's not too bad when we shared with 3 people. I would come back for their pizza and a couple apps! I really like the atmosphere of the bar and staff was very nice and patient with us. Staff was nice to accommodate us and allowed us to choose somewhere else to sit.
I would recommend this place for a casual date, a drink, and a delicious pizza. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. I feel like outside of happy hour, it may be a bit expensive including parking, but it was pretty good...
Read moreWe came in for our anniversary during restaurant week! For our 1st course we had the salad (4/5, basic salad) and the fried ravioli (not my favorite app, 3/5), 2nd course we had the chicken parm (4/5, wanted the short rib ragu but wasnt available) and the pasta rossi (AMAZING 5/5), 3rd course we had the cannoli dip (not worth! and not even cannolis, 4 waffles chips with a melted dip, 2/5) and limoncello cake (very good 5/5). Overall for the restaurant week deal it was well priced and the food was good, again LOVE the pasta rossi. Atmosphere was really nice but I would've liked if our candle was lit like most of the others.
Although we had really nice interactions with the staff, the service was unfortunately hit or miss. We had reservations and started eating around 8:45 (they close at 10) and it wasn't particularly busy, but it felt like they were actively trying to close. Every time we had a request the person we had spoken to would have completely disappeared and never came back (we had asked for boxes in between courses so there would be more room on our table which never came, never got refills on water, was offered a bag for our boxes at the end of the meal which never came). I wouldn't say we were rushed but I do feel like we weren't taken care of. My partner works in the industry and gives plenty of grace to servers but also noticed the lack of quality of service today. This could be because of the chaos of restaurant week but I feel like now more than ever a good impression...
