The type of customer service I received from your MANAGER PRESTON was absolutely disturbing and disgraceful what an embarrassment that I’ve been going to your location as a top rewards member. To be someone representing a company like Panera bread your MANAGER PRESTON needs to learn some customer service!! He was extremely RUDE to me and unhelpful by putting me down and talking back to a customer when I was being extremely polite with him. What an embarrassment poor customer service and horrible attitude!! Makes me never want to go back !!! I AM RED FLAGGING THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION
Don’t bother spending your money where it’s not appreciated and the hospitality is incredibly low somewhere your looked at like an idiot for even going into this place! I would rather drive an hour then ever spend my money hear. He had the worst attitude I think I’ve ever experienced and I can’t believe a chain like Panera bread would consider him a manager! Please teach PRESTON a little bit about customer service before you loose all your business, coming from someone in the restaurant industry I would never in a million years talk to someone the way he did to me. By the looks of the reviews from this store you guys need tighten up and really think about who you have representing the company. A 3.6 star service is ridiculous and I’ve given other Panera breads 5 star reviews so i know what good customer service looks like and feels like. Thanks Preston for making my experience today absolutely horrible and to make it worse he shorted me my bagel and cream cheese just to be that much more...
Read moreFirst I will copy/paste my previous review from a few months ago... So, I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese on chibatta (spell check doesn't even know). What I got....that minus the egg and sausage. I say, "Aren't you forgetting something?" She goes, "Oh", takes it back, slaps an egg on it, puts it back up on the counter and goes back to her conversation with her fellow juvenile teeniebopper coworker mocking all the customers. I say, "Uh, supposed to have sausage too." She looks at me like I'm lying, says nothing, takes it back and slaps a sausage on it. No apologies.
And here is my new feedback from this evening... Customer service is the worst at this Panera. I stood there waiting while both the store manager and the lead worker ignored me...kept stocking bagels and staring directly at me at the counter like I was invisible. Waddaya need? I finally got from the one staring at me. I asked "Are you closed?" Nope...just really really jaded and unprofessional. So I get a refill coffee. This was around 4:30pm. I asked when they're closing and she said ..."Who knows, maybe 9 maybe 8, depends on traffic." Today is the day before Thanksgiving. I get that. However, I am sitting here now at 7:00pm and they've already taken away all the coffee pots and the annoying table cleaning drone keeps giving me a dirty look like I'm keeping her from her awesomely spectacular suburbia Columbus nightlife. Thank God there's another family in here or they'd probably start throwing things at me. I know they're already mocking me. This...
Read more11-8-22 UPDATE. I did reach out to Panera and they told me they would put something on my account because of my experience. I am not aware of what it was, but I do appreciate them attempting to make things right. Thus, I will change by “1-star” to a “3-star.”
I went to Panera today because I had a coupon for $1 off soup, and I usually get the group serving which serves 4 people. So I went to use my coupon and they gave me a lame excuse on why they refused to honor it for my group soup. In addition, with my group soup, they failed to give me any spoons, bowls, or a ladle to serve the soup. If that is not bad enough, they also failed to give me a muffin that I paid for. So when I got home and opened my bag, I called them to advise of these issues and they refused to correct the situation. They again gave me a lame excuse why they could not give me a $1 off my order, and then they told me I could use my time and my gas at $5 a gallon to go back there and they would "give" me my muffin that I already paid for. The thought of my expense and inconvenience as a result of their error never crossed their mind as usually, when places fail to give food paid for, they might add an extra treat or give a larger size to make up for the inconvenience. This Panera had no sense of these common customer service behaviors and left me with the short end of the stick. That is not a good way to encourage customers...
