My experience as a customer is impacted by how I see you treat your employees.
While I love the food here, I overheard a manager telling a new 23 yr old trainee, working a 7 hour shift, that she was only entitled to a 10 minute lunch break!
(Or an 30 min. unpaid lunch break, I was told later, though I am not certain this was explained to the trainee).
This is appalling regardless. When I was a teenager in the 90's, an 8 hour shift got me TWO paid 15 minute breaks, and ONE unpaid thirty minute lunch break.
Another manager who said she sometimes works up to 12 hour shifts--if I heard her correctly--gets no breaks! She should be getting both a 30 min lunch and a 30 min dinner.
Going backwards like this, even if you are following Ohio minimum guidelines, is going to create the most resentful generation of workers ever...and it will backfire.
What is lawful is not always moral. Please go above board and reward your hard-working employees with break tiers that at least match what America had...

I wasn’t going to call because it wasn’t a big deal, but felt like if I payed for something then I should let them know I didn’t receive it. I nicely called and let the staff know that I didn’t receive the 15 toasts and requested a credit since it was too late to turn around and go get it. I was met with the rudest response from the boy I spoke to on the phone. They swore they put it in the bag and that I was lying🤣 Honestly in disbelief at how unprofessional and defensive the response was… to argue with me and swear you put it in the bag instead of just acknowledging your mistake is telling about your customer service skills. I’m not that hard on to get a free 15 toasts my guy LOL. They ended up offering the credit but I’m so disgusted by the customer service that I don’t even...
Read moreI’ve always loved Raising Cane’s and would stop by whenever I visited from out of state. It was one of my go-to spots for chicken fingers, fries, and coleslaw. I recently moved here permanently and was excited to visit again, but my experience today was extremely disappointing.
I usually go through the drive-thru, so I had never been inside before. Today, I decided to walk in, and the moment I entered, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant smell, like rotten cabbage or garbage. It was so overwhelming that I almost turned around and left, but I felt bad since I was already inside. The restaurant itself looked very clean, but the smell made it hard to enjoy the food.
Sadly, this experience really changed my opinion, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I hope management sees this and figure out the source of that odor, because it’s not what you expect from a place that’s usually...
