This is probably the best coffee shop in Columbus for the sake of pure enjoyment of coffee. It is clear that they put a lot of effort into their roasts, and there are a wide variety of options to showcase it. I will admit, the price for a pour over made me feel suspect. Not every shop can deliver product that matches the price. However if there ever was a place to spend $9 on a cup of coffee, this is the one. Truly I had never had a cup of coffee like it, and I could see myself coming back to try new roasts every once and a while. However don't let that $9 discourage you from being a regular; the drip coffee and espresso drinks are all very reasonably priced for your more casual trips. Bags of coffee definitely skew more expensive compared to other local roasters, but rightfully so. The employees, at least one of which was an owner, were all very pleasant to talk to and eager to educate me on their beans. The only downside to this shop is it is the vibe is a bit off relative to what you'd might expect from a cafe. Music was playing, and definitely not something ambient or jazzy that would be ideal for studying, reading, etc. Regardless, it's still plenty cozy and has a nice aesthetic that deviates from your generic mod coffee shop decor. In summary, if you're looking to celebrate coffee and discover new flavors, this is the...

However, this review doesn’t end with the coffee. I left my wristlet at the coffee shop with my ID and everything, which I only noticed when we arrived at the airport. We were due to fly out at 3pm (yes, in 9 minutes as of writing this review) and the shop closed at 2. I called in a panic and the phone rang straight to Brian on his cell. I told him the situation, and he had his employee, Zach, DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT to bring me my stuff so we didn’t miss our flight. I cannot explain my gratitude enough for this act of kindness that he most certainly didn’t have to do. My significant others’ son swims at OSU so each and every time we come, this coffee shop is our exclusive shop!!! Thank you a thousand times a thousand!! Good people do...
Read moreProbably my favorite new small business around the Kenny Rd area. The place is decked out with a very funky, kitschy vibe, but I'm kind of a fan of that, right next to the also awesome Natalie's venue. It feels kinda cool to go into a faux speakeasy coffee place. I don't think atmosphere amounts to much for me but this place charmed me quite thoroughly.
I tried the barista's breakfast, which I would recommend to anybody who enjoys coffee. The batch brew I had was probably the best filter coffee I've had in my life (certainly don't misunderstand me for an expert, but started to try the high-grade stuff recently). Been buying beans for a good few months now, all of them are excellent, in particular the beans they source from Uganda. I like that they aren't afraid to make weird stuff, either. Great shop, and I hope...
