Picked up a Santa suit for a fund raiser at a friends church for under privileged children on the 18th. I had been measured for the jacket but not the pants a week before. Expecting the pants to fit if the jacket did, I picked up the suit. The 18th was the event and I proceeded to the church and put the suit on . I was very surprised that the suit appeared to be at least ten years old. I tried the pants on, they were at least a 50 , I am am a 38. There was a worn out draw string that would no tighten to my waist size so I had to hold the pants up with my hand. The band that holds up the beard was also stretched out so I finally just took it . Everything about the suit was old . I returned it on the 21st and stated my frustration as to the condition. The manager never acknowledged the poor condition, but upon request allowed a 25.00 credit. The reason for my#1 rating was her attitude. She actually brought up the fact that the suit was not picked up right away so that was her excuse for it not fitting. She said I could have exchanged it before the event. I am retired from retail and arguing and debating with a customer was a no no. If I remember it was called CUSTOMER SERVICE. The price to rent this suit was 75.00 and it was barely functional. I also had a business and my goal was to make a profit. But not to the point of a rip-off to the customer . I will not use this location again. This is absolutely the best place to go for last minute special effects make up, costumes, props, etc. if you are in the local film industry/theatre! It is usually impossible to find something specific last minute, but this store seems to always have exactly what I need when I need it! The manager Pam is the sweetest, most informative employee that any business owner could wish for, if there is something that you cannot find she will definitely order it for you. This is an excellent, year-round, costume shop (they are not seasonal like most costume shops). They have a fair selection of costumes for both rentals and for purchase, as well as makeups and accessories. More costume-party than ren-faire, but with theater-quality rentals.

The good: the staff is friendly and helpful. The costumes are fairly priced.
