Thai House (To Go & Delivery) — Restaurant in Columbus

I visited the restaurant today during lunch. I love the atmosphere and the food, but today my experience was one that completely changed my views of this restaurant. I ordered Drunken Noodles. The taste was different than I previously tasted. I asked the server to exchange the item for a different dish. The server told me I could not exchange the item and I would be required to pay for it even if I didn't eat it. Further, she stated the food could not be returned because I didn't like it. She proceeded to debate with me about the issue and I insisted I would be required to pay. The server then stated she was required to pay for the dish if I didn't. I stated I never heard of that at any restaurant in Columbus or any other place I have traveled. The server then changed and stated she would be allowed to return the item and she would not be required to pay this time. However, I would have to pay for the soup and the egg roll. She never offered a replacement item and when I requested to speak with the owner or manager she stated they were not available. I was intensely dissatisfied with the service, the insistence I pay for something I was not satisfied with and her refusal to make amends or send a manager to my table to discuss the issue. We've come to Thai House for years, my boyfriend and I even had our first date here. The food is always delicious, highly recommend the Tofu Pad Thai, Fried Spring Rolls, And Basil Fried Rice. Today was a disappointment, I understand they are a fairly smaller restaurant and I think the entrees are cooked to order so this takes a fair amount of time (which is understandable cause good food has to cook). But I called in a to go order of two entrees and was told it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. I arrived about 25 minutes after the phone call so I knew I'd have to wait a bit. BUT I ended up waiting a total of an hour since the phone call. No one communicated when it would be ready or anything, it wasn't terribly busy and as I waited I saw guest that had ordered when I got there get their food ahead of me. Also, the young girl that took my order over the phone seemed to be the only waitress working but like she had somewhere better to be. She had an attitude with each interaction I had with her. This restaurant has really tasteful Thai food, easily one of my favorites in town. But with the customer service I received today I'm not sure if I'd ever want to eat...

Dined at the Thai House today... and I had a horrible experience... As I was eating my food I found a long hair... My hair was neatly pulled back in a bun and had been sealed down with styling gel... I am sure it was not mine... When I called the waitress over she laughed and said oh well I'll take this... She said, laughing, It is not from us our hair is not thick it was one strand of hair, She did not have on a hair net nor did the woman she pointed out as the cook. In fact, As far as I could see into the kitchen and as I pointed out to her, no one in the kitchen had on a hair net, but she insisted the hair did not come from them. She never even apologized... I am reporting them every where that has a jurisdiction or interest in and over food safety, cleanliness or customer satisfaction... Just the thought of eating the hair makes...
