I've been to multiple Wendy's locations over the years, and while the food and service has always good, this location topped them all - in every way.
1.) The service was phenomenal. I did a mobile order to pick up via the drive thru. The woman taking the orders was very efficient, yet remained friendly during the busy lunch rush. The woman at the food pick up window truly made my day...I wish I knew her name (managers, please give her acknowledgement: 1/14/22 ~noon). She was friendly, genuinely smiled, efficient, used my name and acknowledged me as a person, not just running in mechanical mode. That kind of service is hard to find these days, especially in fast food.
2.) You know how food always gets a little squished and never looks like the commercials? Not the case here. It was packed tightly to use the least amount of supplies (yay- hug a tree!), but carefully so nothing was squished. After driving ~10 minutes to a park to enjoy lunch with my daughter, the food was still hot, made to order (I'm picky, always making changes, so I don't expect things to always be right) and the food tasted exceptionally fresh. The toppings on the sandwiches and Baconator fries were plentiful and the bacon was incredibly flavorful. I've been craving it since, lol.
Both my daughter and I were really impressed, appreciating the lovely women we encountered who made our day a bit brighter by simply being kind. We caught ourselves "mmmm-ing" throughout our entire meal, lol. Thank you to ALL of the employees for working hard, taking the time to prepare our food, preparing it with care and being so efficient to help us get on our way. You made our lunch memorable! I know many people take for granted the work you do, often feeling like a thankless job, but you're truly...
Read moreKids wanted to go eat at Wendy's for late lunch today, so we Walked in, I Iooked around while was walking to stand in line. There was FOOD and TRASH and ketchup on TABLES from customers/and on floor under tables. I should have left right then. But while was standing in line a couple ppl were by the fryers. They were NOT using GLOVES at all to open or put food in. But there were 5 ppl there I could see so not counting ppl I couldn't see that were working but there was enough ppl working that someone should have cleaned it up threw away the trash left, but didn't see or hear anyone say nothn bout it while there. Like it was a normal thing or something, anyways... A manager should have sent someone to clean it all up or done it themselves considering how it looked. I should have took pictures to show everyone but didn't. Looked nice on outside but inside was nasty. After seeing how it looked inside & how they were handling food considering all that I made comment "this place is really dirty & NO1 cared it was a mess cuz didn't clean it not eating here" then when seen the no gloves on I LEFT did NOT order anything.. I usually go thru the drive thru and I go alot but I WON'T be anymore cuz of how the place looked inside was very DIRTY & Since I seen that... it will jus stay in my mind of how much the employees don't care apparently about food safety/cleanliness. So how do people think they food will be handled when made? Prob not properly. The Health dept would not be happy if seen what I seen today. 🤮🤢 When food not handled improperly people get sick cuz of cross contamination and germs from hands so think bout that next time...
Read moreThis place has gone way downhill in the last few years. You used to get fast service, and every order was accurate every time. Not anymore.
Order a frosty, you'll get a water instead. Ask for no ice, you'll get ice. Ask for no tomato, you'll probably get tomato. And, while not exactly rude, the staff can be rather unprofessional.
When ordering, I've had to repeat my order three times before it was actually acknowledged, and even then, I've been interrupted with a "gimme a second", which indicates that the person taking said order clearly is not paying attention, and doesn't even care enough to try to be polite.
I first came to this Wendy's a few years ago, and have been there a good amount since then, and I don't see any of the old faces anymore. There is clearly a high turnover rate here, which correlates to a general sense of incompetence and complacency.
I get it, I've been there, fast food jobs suck. But when I pay good money for a product, I expect to get it- correctly prepared, in a timely manner, and with a modicum of professionalism.
Customers beware, there's a slight chance your order might be accurate, but you'd better check it before you pull out of the parking lot, because they certainly won't bother to check it before handing it...
