Zero stars...Auburn Ave location. I joined the rewards program online where it states join and I can get an offer of free tenders. I called the location to verify, and was told that is only after you start getting rewards. Okay, that makes sense and I am fine with that. However, after placing my order for two meals and two funnel cakes. I get a popup that says I have a free reward for one few funnel cake for spending over $5. I applied the reward and took of one of my funnel cakes. Since we don't need three. Hubby goes to the location to get our order as I'm having a major migraine. He gets there and all they will say is they are not going to honor the reward. No details on why not. What made the situation worst is they asked a black female employee to speak with him. Now she isn't in a position of management nor was he acting upset. He was just asking questions that I asked him to ask them while he had me on the phone. I can only take that one of two ways. They either thought they were going to get him to stop asking questions because she is of color. That or they were trying to see if her being a female he might find cute. That would make him act different. Those are the only two reasons I can think of. She was at least able to tell us why they didn't honor the rewards. They decided since I ordered a funnel cake and I get a free one they would just take the cost off my bill for the funnel cake. That way I get one funnel cake. If that is the case that is fine ask me if I would like to purchase another one or offer a free one for the trouble. Then we asked for no ice for our drinks. Cups fulled with ice. Fries undercooked and tenders hard. I won't be spending my money here.
Update after posting this review I get an email thanking me for signing up to the rewards. The email also let me know my rewards for the free tenders is available, so the employee on the phone we talked too...
Read moreThe line was short, which is abnormal considering it’s usually stretched almost to the road, if not in the road/turn lane. I was at the drive thru speaker box waiting with no response for like 20 seconds, which I was fine with, trust me, I’ll wait with no issues as I worked in customer service for many, many years. I started to sing to myself in the car, which was met with an abrupt “YES!!!, can I help you?” I didn’t play into the rudeness and started ordering normally, I ordered the plate and a sweet tea and was met with, “is that it?” In an aggressive tone! To which I replied, “no, can I get a big zack snack meal as well!” To which the gentleman replied “is that it?”, Again, in an aggressive tone. He was not the cashier but I could see him clearly walk to the window to see who I was, rolled his eyes visibly for me to see, and then proceeded to walk like a “diva” back to wherever his station was in the store. I’m not even gonna take my anger out on the store by leaving a bad review, because the wait wasn’t long and the food was great as always. The girl cashier was also very polite, as I’m sure she knew he was being a drama queen. But as for him and his attitude, he’d do well to find another career that didn’t involve working with the general public. Doesn’t matter what you are dealing with at work, I didn’t cause you to be upset nor was I rude to you, so why direct your drama at me? While placing my order the young lady kept cutting me off and every time I tried to talk she was not listening because she kept on rushing several times... Listen to the customers and then repeat the order and stop RUSHING. Got to the window and was trying to tell her to stop and listen and she will like "excuse me" and I asked for the other young lady to finish because she was much nicer didn't have a attitude and was very pleasant. I use to come to Zaxbys on Macon Rd alot but I see why again I won't be coming back to this location. Managers please train the crew to have more respect and kindness because it leaves a bad look on you and the business...
Went thru the drive thru and order a salad and a big zac meal got home and the cucumbers were sour and bad on my salad. Called the "manager"and explained to him the situation and he basically didn't seem to be bothered by the bad food. Went back to return the food asked for a refund and I WILL not return to this location again. The lady who was at the counter was very nice but as far and the "manager" goes he is not what that store needs. The location has continuously went down on service food and the area as well. Lights are always out or not working and the excuse is they won't fix them and seems like the owner doesn't care about it reputation of it's business....
