I'll admit, I'm gonna be a tough sell. I am a business owner, so I like to support other Michigan businesses. The coffee place up the street that originated in East Lansing has had my heart, and my business, since my college days. I looked up the history of Scooter's, and I like the farmer direct trade concept, so I decided to make my first stop. The person taking my order was cheerful. I said "Welcome to the neighborhood" and told her it's my first visit. She was pleasant and patient as I deliberated my options. When I got to the window, service was fairly quick, which is appreciated, but the coffee cup was the wrong size. I said no matter, as long as I only paid for what I got; they confirmed that I had indeed paid for a larger size. The error was corrected fairly quickly. Yet, it is not merely the elixir that draws adulation, but the meticulous choreography of service that elevates this establishment. As I ventured through their drive-thru portal, a whispered suggestion to "scoot ahead" became a metaphor for their prowess in orchestrating seamless transactions, each note resonating with efficiency. The tapestry of their customer service is woven with threads of exceptionalism, a testimony to their dedication. As I traverse the thoroughfare toward my vocation, the siren call of Scooters beckonsâan integral interlude in the tapestry of...
Read moreBit disappointed. First time trying Scooters. Ordered a small blended Carmelicious, I think 12 oz. Paid $6.00 for it (actually $5 and some change but the young kid at the window said âOh good, you have money for a tipâ while I was reaching in my wallet) and got a drink that was only 3/4 full. It may have been intentional to fill it that way as I believe it is supposed to be topped with whipped cream, which apparently was left off. Taste was ok but truthfully will return to Tim Hortons where I can get a larger iced capp which tastes about the same for...
