Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Concord Township

Have to give credit to Jackson, he greeted me, was friendly and helpful in placing my order. With that said, past few times I was criticized for requesting swiss on tuna ("I've never heard of that," grumpily asked to place a positive review, charged $4 extra for a double portion meat (turkey) because the amount is not enough to begin with, and this last (and final) time... the gentleman with the short dark hair (who I have seen before and already knew is not friendly) and his lady colleague said nothing to me or looked in my direction -- They just call the name, I acknowledge, they place the paper bag down on the counter, don't look in my direction or at me, don't say thank you/good night, or even acknowledge when I thank them! Dead silence, crickets. That's a great way to make a customer feel unwelcome. Unfriendly behavior, too many times now and the other things I've finally had enough -- you don't want my business, no problem -- you got it. And although convenient at times -- I have found the product quantity (usually the protein) less than I would expect and assembly to be inconsistent. I can’t say anything about the food, but definitely the service. We placed an online order that accidentally went to the following day. I called to correct it and the person on the phone was honestly unbelievable. I asked her if I could please cancel the order and she told me “no, I’m just the cashier I can’t do that.” I said ok, can I talk to someone who could? She responded with “no, he left 30 minutes ago.” Okay, that’s fine so I requested if I could read her my order and place a new one with them and call to cancel the mistaken one tomorrow. This was her response. “No, I can’t do that. You can come get your food tomorrow though.”

What?????? Absolutely unbelievable and clueless and intentionally rude. I was patient and trying to think of solutions. I called back the next day to cancel and the man on the phone promptly helped me but I have zero clue what was up with the person from the previous day. I ordered a cheese steak with double meat and cheese - which I paid EXTRA for - to be delivered by Door Dash(I had NO problem with them). Let's just say if I hadn't ordered double meat and cheese there would have been NO meat or cheese on the sandwich. The store sent me a text to ask about my experience and when I told them I gave them a 1/POOR - they never responded back - guess they don't care but it will be the LAST time for this Capriotti's.
