We went to BJ’s on Thursday night, just myself and my daughter. The weight was not too long about 10 minutes. Give or take. We sat and looked over the menu so that we would know what we were going to be eating that way as soon as we sat down, we could let them know, however the hostess set us down. She left and said that the waitress would be there shortly shortly came and went almost 20 minutes. If not more we waited it wasn’t busy busy, but it was busy and there was a large group next to us and then across from us. All three of those boobs were taken and in our section it wasn’t that it was. We were the only ones the hostess set us in front about a foot away from the door that goes outside. I guess their side door and some man was standing there and he was talking on his telephone and just talking and me having a full conversation loud just standing there he would open the door, but he wouldn’t go out. He would open the door if he wouldn’t go out then he walk and stand by the tables that was directly next to us that was annoying, but you know, however, my most concern was no one was coming. We were just sitting there. We literally knew what we was gonna eat. We waited waiters we go past us waitresses will go past us, but no one ever came and took the order eventually I’m assuming he was a manager he came and he says no one came to you yet and we’re like no and so he goes and get I don’t know whatever a book or whatever and he comes back and he goes. I don’t it’s something about another table. One of their kids didn’t get their food and everybody else had and she was dealing with that in the kitchen. I don’t know what they have to do with us however, I just smiled and proceeded to say what I want. My daughter said what she wanted and then he left. I happen to get an appetizer and I asked that it be brought out with the meal. I got the soup and the salad which was unlimited and my daughter got nachos. My Sally came out first then my appetizer came out. Her nacho came out. My soup didn’t come out for another probably 10 minutes before they realize they hadn’t brought it out then I got an appetizer which was the wontons and I had asked that they be deep fried. You can either have them deep-fried or pan fried I asked for deep fried they definitely were not deep fried then we proceeded to eat, and my daughter I don’t know. Just the food was horrible, and when my daughter says you know this is unlimited that’s not unlimited and she said it is and I got oh well I guess I can ask for another soup and salad so the girl finally all of a sudden she started coming over and going do you need anything? do you need anything? I’m like mind you we’re about to leave now. We want the stuff to go and now you wanna ask me do I need anything so the bill came it was $60 and I asked to speak to the manager. I guessed out and I’m assuming that’s the guy that took the order and I explained the situation and how I wasn’t happy with the food and I just wasn’t happy with the service overall I asked him with a short staff and he goes. Yeah two people called out and then he went on to explain that the other table she had which was a big table. They had issues at their table, and I couldn’t understand for the life of me why he continue to always give me these excuses of to why she cannot serve us or take care of our table because she has so much going on with the other two tables so that meant she wasn’t able to accommodate our table which was only two people keep that in mind he didn’t cop anything. He didn’t say oh let me take the wontons off because they weren’t good. he didn’t take the drinks off. He didn’t take anything off. He just gave me a lot of excuses. It was the worst. I paid the bill. My soup to go they brought it in a kids cup, which wasn’t even filled up and my salad to go. It took them another 15 to 20 minutes we have been sitting there. The bill was paid....
Read moreI wish I could leave zero stars. My fiance and I went on Sat Jul 10 and were seated at 715pm. We ordered a lavender lemonade and a vanilla cream soda, both with no ice, and a half-and-half pizza (chicken bacon ranch with no onion, and classic with black olives). The waitress tried to card us for these non-alcoholic beverages for some reason. The waitress brought a lavender lemonade with ice and a strawberry lemonade with ice. I asked her to please give me the drink I ordered without ice, and we'll deal with the ice on the other drink. She came by only two more times. One was to tell us the pizza was coming out. Some other person dropped off the pizza, and then it just sat there because our waitress didn't bring us plates. After three attempts at flagging her down, we ask her for plates, and she seemed annoyed, practically throwing them on the table. No napkins btw... That was the last time we saw her, and we tried to flag her down when she walked by but no dice. So finally, half an hour later we want to leave, and she still hasn't come by, so I pay online an let the front staff know I paid and show the confirmation so they don't think we dine and dashed or something. I still left an 18% tip but I low-key wish I hadn't. I told the front person "our waitress abandoned us" - she talked to manager-seeming person who just said "okay you can go now" without asking about the service or anything like that. To top it off, I spent the entire day with food poisoning (vomit and diarrhea all night and still now, a day and a half later). I can't hold down water and will go to the hospital if this keeps up tonight. BJ's was the only thing I ate yesterday so whatever I got sick with had to come from there. My fiance also had mild diarrhea, but nothing as bad as what I'm going through. I've been to this BJ's location before the pandemic and it was fine! I'm not sure what happened - I guess the pandemic putting everyone on edge or something is the nicest light I can see...
Read moreDon't know where to start. Sad because we come here a lot. I'll start off with the women's restroom smelling something awful. Counters were all wet got my shirt soaked. & I had to hold my breath the whole time I was in there. Now, our waitress, Layla (not sure about spelling) night of 11/29/24........ started off with a strong 5 star service. She was so nice and kind and easy going. Not sure if she was new because she had just a tiny trouble putting our order in. But hey. No judgment. She was still amazing. Up until I had to wait for a ranch cup that only came after my family and I were pretty much done eating. After that, we had a little confusion about the Pizookies but got through it as a team. At that point, we didn't see her for a REALLY long time. When she finally brought the Pizookies out, the ice cream was melted more than normal and the cookies had already gotten cold. Normally, the cookies are at least warm. After that, she still seemed to disappear for a good long while. When she ended up coming back, I asked for the check. She brought it. & I was totally expecting not to see her again since that seemed to be her MO. But no. This is what set us over the edge. Only after she handed us the check is when we seen her lingering around and she had the audacity to come up to our table twice within minutes. But not one of the four of us even got a drink refill because she was gone so much. So for her to walk up to us twice after giving us the check is what made me decide not to tip. & we're against not tipping. So that says a lot. We're only human. I get it. Life can be stressful sometimes. But if I'm gonna pay $100 for a meal, I'd...
