Boba n me — Restaurant in Concord

I went to Boba n Me for the first time today with my husband and I loved all the different options with not just drink flavors but also the different types of boba as an option for our drinks. Me and my husband ordered one drink to share it was the brown sugar fresh milk boba with coffee jelly and it wasn’t awful but it was just way too bitter and way too strong and way too sweet all at the same time. The overall taste was just too strong for our taste buds personally. We let the employees know that the drink was way too strong and that we didn’t like it and if it was okay to change the drink without charge and they were so understanding and very sweet about the situation. I instead ordered the mango heaven drink and it was amazing!! Thank you Sid and Evelyn for being so kind and willing to remake me a new drink that I very much enjoyed. Omg please do not go here, I went here on Saturday to ask for a drink and the information and this big girl talked to me in Spanish and I asked her for avocado smoothie with oat milk and 50% sugar. She made it with a different milk that made me and my brother stomach upset! Not only that but she took so long for one drink, I regret going to this boba place because there’s a lot of flying flies everywhere and honestly I don’t recommend, I hope the owner trains the staff more! Almost every time my friends and I go here, their drinks are a hit or miss - usually a miss. I have no idea why, but their teas taste nothing like they’re supposed to. The other day I ordered a watermelon tea and it literally tasted like dish soap. My friend ordered an Okinawa milk tea and they somehow made that taste like soap as well.
