I have celiac disease. Very negative effects if anything I eat has touched anything, that has touched anything, that has touched gluten. I am extremely sensitive to the point where even 7 degrees of seperation from gluten can still mess me up. When I went to go get a gluten free pizza here and told them of my allergy, they were very serious about it which I very much appreciate. They wiped down the counter, got new gloves, sanatized the pizza screen, got a new ladle for the sauce, and then proceeded to TAKE OUT INDIVIDUAL UNOPENED BINS OF EACH INGREDIENT I ORDERED. Even going to the back and cutting fresh Basil just because they didn't have another bin. They also baked it on the screen to avoid letting it touch the oven, and cut it with a new sanatized cutter. This same thing has happened multiple times ordering from here. Needless to say, I have NEVER seen any restaurant put this much care in to avoiding pain for me. I am incredibly impressed with the service here, and will 100% continue eating here. Not to mention this place has of the cheapest and one of the best tasting gluten-free pizzas I have ever had. Highly recommended for any fellow celiacs, and...
Read moreI haven’t been to a MOD pizza in many years. So this is as if it is my first tome coming here. So the way it works, the menu is at front as you walk in. You can choose one of their specialty pizzas or you can create your own. I love that concept (love the options).
I went with the Dillon James and Calexico. Basically on a thin crust with real toppings you can add or subtract to it. I chose Dillon James because the toppings were garlic, basil, Mozzarella, asiago, and tomatoes. It came out so good. My friend had the Calexico which had mozarella, gorgonzola, chicken, jalapeño, and spicy buffalo (that one was too spicy for me).
There was only one guy we saw in the whole store and i did not get his name. But he was polite and he moved quickly.
The place looks very modern and it was clean. I love all the pizza box art. Very creative decor. Our food didn’t take too long. And did i mention it...
Read moreStopped in on my way home to Fairfield. I have never been to a MOD Pizza.
This place is roomy inside and many customers. Off to the left you enter into a line , on the wall is a menu to look at as you wait...mmm making me hungry. I created my MOD size 11 inched pizza which is enough for 2 -3 people to share. I ordered mine with a white sauce ( garlic rub ), mozzarella, feta, gorgonzola, and asiago . When it came out the oven it looked great.
I searched for a clean table to sit an enjoy my delicious looking pizza, which is no where in site is there a clean table. Gross!
So, I laid napkins out on the table. The bathroom was clean. The staff making the pizza were professional, patient, and happy. Looks like they truly like their job.
Oh the pizza was scrumptious!! I would recommend...
