Super Duper Burgers — Restaurant in Concord

It’s been a few year an I finally stopped in. Mind you the drive though is busy but inside wasn’t. We arrived around 530pm on a Sunday. While I won’t dock this place stars for it. The parking lot situation the Veranda has is one of the worst. Literally no parking. Ever.

Anyways on to the area. The place seemed an looked clean. There was someone actively cleaning an picking things up. Staff all were nice.

The women’s bathroom does not have a changing table. It’s however in the hall of the bathrooms between the two other bathrooms but open to everyone else to see in public. A simple fix is just putting a changing table in both bathrooms. No one wants to get inside a bathroom an realize there’s no where to change their kid an let alone do it in front of a dining area full of people. I don’t mind but my toddler was fully embarrassed when I showed him the area to change him. So I took him into a stall.

Anyways on to the food. The garlic fries are delicious. The burgers were good enough that will come back.

However this is my issue. One of our burgers wasn’t fully cooked all the way through. Unfortunately this was our kids ( they do not have a kids menu). It wasn’t just light pink. If was literally uncooked. While both our other burgers were fully cooked. Our toddler was already screaming cause he needed a change of clothing due to spilling his drink an the bathroom not being a well great place to change him. We threw it away after we were done an grabbed our ice creams to go an departed.

Mind you the burgers that were cooked were delicious. Better then burger lounge or eureka for sure. Though they say fresh to order an all natural. I do wonder if the burger that wasn’t cooked wasn’t fresh or thawed out. But I will return an try again.

Please also write the veranda an let them know the parking is bad. Seriously.

Nice new place. Big and cool looking inside and out. Food is pretty good. Fairly friendly new person working the register, taking my order. My first time there, at any Super Duper Burger, I had a few questions about the menu. She had to ask the other lady every single thing I asked. The other lady was standing 2 feet away. We could both hear her answers. The person helping me chose to repeat every word of it back to me. Which is considerate, I guess? It made ordering a bummer. The other lady went from knowledgeable to kind of annoyed pretty quickly. The manager was also kind of annoyed when I asked for my order to be medium well. I had forgotten to ask when I ordered because I was trying to wrap it up. I felt like I was bothering them. When I came back to the counter to pick up my order and ask for napkins that person also seemed pretty annoyed with my existence. They gave me a micro smear of avocado for $2.00, so I asked for more. Which they actually obliged. Thank you ! No cap. The malted milk shake was $7.00 and super duper small. Lol… it was also kind of flat, somehow. It seemed almost old. Really strange. The bathroom was not well attended. It was well used. Overall the food was pretty good. The place is pretty nice. I put a lot of value into how staff treats the customers. A little bit of patience and manners goes a very long way. A little bit of attitude goes even further, in the wrong direction. If I return it will be through the drive-through or on DoorDash if available. Place was highly recommended by a very trusted friend. Who is a regular customer. I was a little bit disappointed… but because I went there for burgers and fries and the burgers and fries were pretty good? I will give a fair and...

Okay, okay!!!!! The Super Duper Burgers was outstanding with the Customer service experience. I went in the morning near a work site in Concord and love to visit the unuaual or not so typical types of food places. The Front Counter employee taking my order offered the extras on the menu, which have their cost. So be careful by reading the menu of what are the Free toppings on the Burger and what is charged. Your typical upcharge toppings are Bacon, Avocado and Cheese of course. The price point of a 1/4 burger starts $5 for the basic burger (special sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion)

Anything added on are extra charge. Well for the breakfast, they have your typical English Muffin Sandwhiches of Bacon/egg, Sausage/egg and what not. I had... wait for it........! The Breakfast Burger (not on the Breakfast menu) but asked if they can put an egg on a burger and was told yes. Again, the employee taking my order offered any style of egg (scrambled /folded, Fried- Medium or Hard). This Breakfast burger with the Egg upcharge was 7.21. Seems to be the going price of burgers these days.

Other information imparted to me by the employee taking my order is the burgers are normally cooked Medium instead of Fully Cooked. Glad it was mentioned and so I get the Fully Cooked. To top off my experience with Super Duper Burgers is they offer Military & Veterans Discount. 5 Stars deserved!!!! Thank you so much for a great visit...
