The food is usually fine, but the service is usually terrible. I've stood at the counter for nearly 5 minutes before being acknowledged before. And usually when someone eventually helps me, they just walk up to the register and stare at me, not even a hello. Same situation when I'm handed my food as well.
Today, I thought I'd order ahead on the app, but I accidentally placed the order too early and the app says to call the location I placed the order at to cancel. The girl on the phone said she couldn't...I explained what the app said and she kept repeating that they couldn't, and then eventually it turned to "I have no idea how to do that"...I literally said "wow" because I wasn't sure what else to say. I asked for a manager and she said she was one. I sat there kind of shocked in silence, saying "so there's nothing you can do to help me" and she said "no ma'am". Shocked, I was silent for a moment and then click, she hung up. I had to call back, and now was told I needed to just come in. I said "what happens when I come in if you can't help me now?" and she said she had no idea. Then she said "that's just what the other manager told me"...awesome business being run there. Miraculously, somehow they were able to process my refund over the phone after I kept asking. I fully intended to replace my order, but now I think I'll be going...
Read moreI do not usually write reviews….but this warranted a review. My kids and I usually go to the Afton Ridge Zaxby’s and every time I feel like I would rather go to the dentist with how poor customer service is.
Today we went to the Zaxby’s on Copperfield and there was a “New Management” sign up. With trepidation we went to the drive thru and Marisol (I think that was her name), spoke clearly, professionally and took an accurate order. She also asked if we wanted extra sauce…yes, we did, thank you! And then asked if we wanted dessert…no thanks. We then pulled up to the window and our service got even better. Marisol (??) was ready and handed us our drinks while the younger gentleman processed payment. He then handed us our order (which was correct!!!) and said “have a nice evening”. They were both so professional, well spoken and cordial. It seems silly that I write this with such awe when it should be what we always get…but their awesome behavior is not the norm anymore. They deserve recognition.

Read moreCame through the drive-through and Brandon took my order. He repeated everything that I order went to the pick up window to pick up my order. Never got a receipt at the window drove around to check to make sure everything was in the bag. I was missing the egg rolls got out the car went back into the store to ask for the missing eggrolls. They asked me for my receipt. I told them I never got a receipt, I was told by the young lady at the front counter that you have to ask for a receipt and then ask to speak with Brandon who took my order and called it back with the eggrolls on there. He blankly told me that he did not say eggrolls I just believe that this is a training issue they need to slow down and make sure every customer gets a receipt regardless, if they ask for one or don’t want one . I never saw the manager in the front of the store maybe the manager should be taking the order and tell the person in the drive Thu to give back receipts .
