Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Maumee

Second time in my life I've ever been to a Chick-fil-A. Again, it was bad customer service. I've always heard nothing but great things about their service and products. So I'm not entirely sure what happened.

I ordered a catering tray for Super Bowl earlier in the week. I received a call from the catering manager that the are closing the store at 3:00 on the day I'm picking my order up. Ok, so now what? Well you can pick it up before that. Sweet let me change my plans now so I can take care of this.

I get to the store and ask a worker where I pick up a catering order. He tells me I have to wait in line and tell the cashier I'm there to pick it. Ok, no problem it was packed, but whatever. I wait 20 min or so in line get up there tell the cashier I'm their to pick up an catering order. She tells me to wait off to the side and they will call my name. She doesn't even know my name but ok. I figured I was there at the time stipulated by the catering manager and they just bring it out. So I wait and wait and wait. Finally, I go up to a training employee and he asked my name and said they would be right out.

They finally come out with my order, has my name on it, we'll I looked at the first name. Got in the car started driving away and I noticed fruit in the bag. I look again and they gave me some other customers order that was way more than mine. So, I go back and tell them. Guy laughs and shakes his head. I wait again and finally get my correct order.

Aidan funk served me in the drive through at chick fil and I can confidently say this is the best experience at chick fil a I’ve had in my entire life. Upon arriving, I was greeted with him asking me what I would like to order in the nicest tone of voice I’d heard in my life. The second he began speaking, it was if angels had descended from heaven to sing me a lullaby. I was so starstruck by this tune that it took me a moment to prepare my thoughts and finally be able to tell this goddess of a man my order. He then asked me, “How are you today?” I couldn’t hold on my emotions from the previous day any longer, so I had to tell him what devastating news i was given. I began speaking, “Well sir... Actually, my day has not been so good. Yesterday, I got my arm ambulated because it had cancerous cells inside..” Immediately, without hesitation, Aidan Funk climbed out the drive through window, approached my car with a large steak knife, and cut off his own arm. He then beautifully placed it into my passenger seat, told me I was the prettiest woman he’d ever seen (Even with no arm) and then handed me 10,000 dollars. I will never meet a man quite like Aidan Funk ever again. I proceeded to go home and feed the arm to my 6 starving children. This has been one of the best days of my life. I’m convinced Aidan Funk is a being sent down from heaven by god himself to work at this chick...

Would give zero stars if it would let me. We ordered online about 9:15 and got to the restaurant a little after 9:30 (Google and their website said open till 10). When we pulled up to the ordering speaker and nothing. Pulled up to the window and the worker shooed us away, we continued to sit at the window as money had already been taken from my card for my meal. Sat there for like 3 minutes before they finally opened the window to talk to us, they just looked confused and got a manager. Manager didn't even open the window to speak to us first, just cancelled our order handed us a receipt for a canceled order and said they have absolutelyno food to serve. Another car was behind us with the same dilemma, we heard them say they also placed an order online as we pulled away. How hard is it to put the website as closed or simply stay open to serve customers who have already paid? Or order over not under when you put the truck in? So thanks Chick-fil-A for taking the very last of the money I had and leaving me hungry for the night because it takes 24 hours to get the money back on my card. Worst customer service EVER. I expected so much better from a store who prides themselves on...
